Papa Dan's Pizza & Pasta

How about something from the restaurant stating they are currently closed due to fire? Maybe an automated message when you call the number? Ridiculous driving around looking for the place only to find it burned down?!

I had the best pizza here that I've had in a long time. None of the other pizza places in the area can compare.
it was a sort of deep dish Hawaiian with sausage and pepperoni. I am heartbroken to hear they recently had a fire. I hope and pray they open again soon.

I was never a fan of this restaurant but I was shopping at Bristol farms and as I was leaving the shopping center I noticed this location has burned down.
I hope it wasn't arson but it's really no loss to the community overpriced mediocre Italian cuisine.

It's all true, Papa Dan's IS Papalicious. Great pizza in Palm Desert.

I have loved Papa Dan's for 25 years. Sadly it burned down today along with 3 other businesses.

To start with we were not greeted when we walking in. It took them about 5 minutes to acknowledge us, we were the only ones there.. Finally ordered got lasagna and pizza, that lasagna came up cold and pizza was average. It was our first time there and probably our last time there.

We sat for an hour waiting for our pizza order without our waiter stopping by. It’s obvious that Papa Dan’s places more value on their takeout orders than seated customers.

Ive been to thousands of restaurants this one has the worst service i have ever seen. The workers who work the cash register are the worst and most unprofessional it is a guy with beard and a short girl. Every time i go they never fail in having the worst service and attitude. Its hard to believe that people put up with this business. Because this business is poorly managed it causes a surplus of to much demand and not enough production. With 1 hour plus wait times if you are lucky. They literally closed the to go register on me for whatever reason. It takes a couple seconds to be courteous and give a estimated time or even if the order has even been started. I will no longer be supporting this business no longer. Do better.

we ordered online. after over an hour of not receiving our order or getting an update on delivery time We contacted the app and found that there was no response from Papa Dan’s. When we tried calling, there was no answer. The app responded that our order had been declined, canceled and refunded. Without us downloading the app and texting the app support regarding our order, we would not have ever known that our order had been canceled. The order had been accepted through Papa Dan’s own website. my husband went to the restaurant to order in person to find that the restaurant is closed for remodeling. There is nothing online Letting us know that the restaurant is closed. There’s nothing on their website. In fact they allow us to order via their website and did not have any indication that they are closed. When we called, there was no answering machine Message alerting us that the restaurant is closed. We have been going to Papa Dan’s for many years as visitors to this area. It is so upsetting that they would have no care for their customers and at least updating the website or their answering machine to notify customers that they’re closed. What a waste of time. We’re having to figure out dinner for our children and us at 8:30 when we ordered two hours ago. So inconsiderate of patrons that have supported you for so many years.
