It's amazing inside and authentic in a hard to find way. Food is spot on, bier is kalt. A great stop on the way to the beach. The freeway access is key as well- although I live in AZ, I make sure everyone stops in and brings a couple of pretzels on their way back!
We were probably some of the last to visit this great little resturant before being closed do to the COVID-19 Virus . The Owner is very Welcoming, The food is so authentic you would think you were in Germany! My Wife had the Roladin whiich She very much enjoyed . I had the Hunter Schnitzel which was excellent . I ordered 3 sides that are only $4.00 each when haveing the Main , and they were excellent ,small house salad, Red cabbage, Dill cucumber salad very good.This is not a...read full review

We went to Schnitzelhaus twice during our 2 weeks in Palm Desert and had a great meal both times. Their pork and veal schnitzel are both excellent, pounded very thing, and tender. The atmosphere is fun and we will definitely go back.
