My first experience was Shake Shack was in New York City and it was something special. Now that they spread around the country I think they've lost something. The burgers are fine but nothing unusual, And it feels like just another fast food burger place. This one happens to be on the fancy drag and Palm Desert so you might expect a little more.
The restaurant was clean and the customer service was friendly. The ordering was simple and easy. Price was alittle more than expected (ordered 2 burgers, cheese fries, 2 milkshakes and a soda for $52) i was surprised they charged extra for Whipcream on the milkshakes and the cheese fries were small and barely had any cheese on them. The burgers were good but nothing super special. It was a fine experience but definitely a 1 and done type of thing.
Food was ok nothing out of this world. I wasn’t impressed with the food we ordered. You can definitely get a better burger at other local restaurants for half the price and better taste. We spent almost $60 for two fast food meals. Plus they asked for a tip even though we used the self service kiosk.
