A Coachella Valley must. I remember coming to this place 30 years ago and it taste as good if not better. Straight pastrami sandwich on Rye is the only way to go.

Sherman's Deli is the place to visit for fresh soups, salads and deli sandwiches. The sandwiches are very generous with enough to share. I suggest the pick two for half a sandwich of your choice and soup or salad. The place is very busy and it's often hard to find a parking place. Service is very efficient. Well worth a visit.

First time at this location as the one in Palm Springs was closed for updates. The atmosphere is much better in Palm Springs location. Service was slow, but our server was very sweet. I had knockwurst and beans. The knockwurst were grilled perfectly but they skrimped on the beans. The included potato salad was bland, it needs salt and pepper. My wife had meatloaf with mashed potatoes and veggies. Two generous slices of meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy were good. Her vegetables were also bland. The price is reasonable, the meatloaf loaf was on the earlybird special. Parking is tight in the immediate area but plentiful in general area.

Had such a wonderful experience today the food was great and my server was even better! Jennifer helped me out with all of my picky requests. I was ready to give up with Sherman’s after going to the location in Palm Springs and having a horrible experience with the host (older lady with glasses) at that location who yelled at my son and I for walking in the wrong area without us knowing and then continuing to mention it multiple more times after we sat down needless to say this will be the only location I go to from now on.

Forgive me on my review. Overly priced for the sized portions (3 of us different items). Quality/taste is above average but overall not worth the price let alone the drive to check it out.

Huge portions, reasonable pricing. Go at off peak hours if you don't want to stand in line for a table.

Unfortunately, it’s getting harder and harder to find a good deli. Thank goodness Sherman’s is still around and hopefully doing well. I’m moving to Palm Springs in a couple of months, and Sherman’s will be my go to restaurant.
