Service was slow. Had to get up a couple times to get service. Table and restroom were dirty. I’ll try it again in a year or so. Maybe they can iron these things out. Food was half decent.

This is a new restaurant to our area, but a small chain restaurant company. We sat at the bar for dinner and drinks. Happy hour menu does have some good options. Be prepared to wait. The bartenders are very slow at orders and drinks. Once we were able to order, the food came out pretty quickly. The sushi was very good! And the stuffed eggs are to die for! The specialty drinks are pretty standard. The key lime pie is delicious with the raspberry sorbet! I think they will have to step up their game if they plan to survive the expectations the El Paseo crowds have.

I ordered the veggie taco's, they came in so much oil it was not enjoyable. Also it came with a large potatoes in the middle of the platter?! The veggies came chopped very small and with a ton of potatoes- it looked exactly like home fries for breakfast- potatoes, red pepper and some zucchini. NOT veggie tocos. Not remotely close? The worst value I have had in the desert! If you want veggies you do not want lots of grease and lots of starch?! Not sure what they are thinking here?

Newer restaurant that was beautiful inside and the service was great. This is an upscale looking place inside but the food was even better as we had dinner and my wife ordered the chicken tacos and she wants to come back just to have that again! Not your normal tacos as the chicken was grilled and it was so moist and flavorful and it was the same chicken that I had ordered for my entree and that chicken was one of the best I've had as the breast was so tender, moist and flavorful with crispy skin! the tacos had their homemade cole slaw along with guac, pico and corn tortillas and you just have to try these as it's not what you think it is! Had great appetizers with the wedge salad and egg rolls with spicy tuna and a dipping sauce that was ponzu sauce with spicy mayo and it was to die for!!

From being greeted graciously, to our server Allan, we were taken care of. From sharing pallet tastes to questions about different dishes, and a special request on one dish, we were very happy epicureans.

Love the look and feel of restaurant, servers were all super attentive and always checking in with us on food, clearing plates or if we needed another drink etc. Good portions of food, ordered the Fish dinner special as it sounded delicious but honestly the presentation and flavors didn't blend well together...the risotto wasn't warm and the spring peas were cold so that cooled it down even more. The Halibut was dry, didn't finish.
This was my 4th visit and each time the food and service has been declining. My experience during this last visit the service was slow, my entree arrived cold and one of my guest had to wait a few minutes before his meal arrived while everyone else was served. The presentation of the entrees is going downhill. I don't think I'll be returning which is a shame since we had a great experience the 1st time.

First time for dinner and all four of us were extremely impressed with the entire evening. The appetizers were quite different we loved the buffalo onion rings and the deviled eggs. All four dinner were perfect and amazing. Thank you very much!

My boyfriend and I came to the desert for our 3 year anniversary and wanted to try Shorebird after it was recommended to us. I called ahead and asked if they would allow flowers to be left at the table and a glass of champagne at the table to celebrate. We walked in the door and the ambiance was exceptional, the table was beautiful and there was a note wishing us a happy anniversary. From the host, the server, and bus man, everyone was friendly and all made this night one to remember. Thank you to the entire Shorebird team, we can’t wait to come back!
