We had brunch and it was delicious. I had the tomato and avocado omelette served with their amazing crispy potatoes and lemon aioli. My husband had the chicken & waffles—best ever. Harold was our server and he was excellent—friendly and attentive. We've dined here several times and are never disappointed. The ambiance is lovely with a great view. Highly recommend.

We went to Shorebird for Thanksgiving dinner and were very impressed! Their Turkey dinner was delicious and so was their pork chop, burger & salmon.

Thanksgiving was awful. The dining room was full of very loud children and the dinner was completely inedible for me. The turkey consisted of three very thin slices covered with brown gravy and it was over salted. The stuffing tasted like it came from a grocery store box and the red potato was a white lump that tasted like it sounds with baby marshmallows on top. When I returned the dinner uneaten I complained to the server regarding the above and on our exit I told the manager the same thing. He apologized but nothing was removed from my bill. For two people it came to about $130 including two cocktails!

The most delicious Huevos Rancheros I have ever eaten! Beautiful ambiance with the most attentive waiter! Definitely give it a try. Apparently their Happy Hour is fantastic as well.

Tried to make a reservation by phone, but no joy. Reserved through Open Table, no muss or fuss. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, the food was delicious. The restaurant was nearly empty, so the noise level was at null. Overall a nice experience. I will surely return.

The food is always amazing at shorebird and Alfonso is an incredibly talented server. However, the noise level was so intense that we had to ask to be reseated because there was a group of eight young women who had too much to drink in the dining room and were raising their voices and having a wonderful time. It's unfortunate that all of the other diners had to be subjected to this and that management didn't try to move them to a different location. Not only did we find this offensive, but another gentleman at an adjacent table came over to us and mentioned how disappointed he was that management was not dealing with this noise level. Shorebird is always a loud restaurant, but this was beyond the typical noisy situation. I hope they figure out a way to absorb some of the noise in that restaurant because the food is amazing. The location is great and they have so much else going for them.

What are lovely find! Large menu selection for all dietary restrictions. Everything was so fresh and delicious. Generous portions and friendly, attentive service.

The pork chop was still very good but not as amazing as the last time I was there. Service was great.

Incredibly slow kitchen. I'm guessing they missed the market on staffing. The waiter needs to learn to look around as he goes from place to place, he might actually sell a few more drinks. The sashimi was very good and the scallops were cooked perfectly. The mussels were sandy, which was disappointing. Forget desert, we were there 2.5 hours and didn't feel like waiting anymore.

It was like they just opened, but they have been there for over 2 years. Terrible service. Will never go back.

Food and service were great! It was a pretty noisy and the music was too loud even though we were in a separate room.

The food was good but nothing to write home to mama about. Service was good. Noise was moderate. Yeah it's on el paseo so I'm sure that factored into the cost but as a local, there's better places to eat for the money.

Shorebird has such a great atmosphere, especially during happy hour (Last Friday). The Sushi Lido is incredibly fresh and full of flavor, definitely one of the best sushi options in the area. I also tried the chicken sandwich, which was juicy and surprisingly memorable. The cocktails were well-made and paired perfectly with the food.

The highlight of the evening was the live music. There’s a guitarist who performs with a really professional presence and an IMPRESSIVE voice. He plays a wide range of songs that fit the vibe perfectly and makes the whole experience feel elevated. It’s not just background music; he genuinely adds to the energy of the place.

Overall, great food, great drinks, and exceptional live music. A place worth coming back to!

I don’t know how this restaurant manages to remain open given the competition here in the Coachella Valley. My neighbor and I decided to go one night for dinner. We made a reservation and were seated within a reasonable amount of time. Here’s the kicker. The server offered us several “special’s” that were available that night. Without thinking to ask the price I mistakenly ordered the halibut. My neighbor ordered a chicken meal off the menu. As most restaurant’s of this caliber bring bread and butter I actually had to ask the server for it. He told us that their policy was to only bring bread if the customer requests it. And much to my surprise he brought 2 small rolls. If you wanted more you had to “ask” for it. When my meal arrived it consisted of a small piece of dried halibut over some green beans. Disappointing to say the least. In retrospect I should have sent it back and requested something else. I grudgingly ate what I could and we finished up. When the bill came I almost fell to the floor. They charged $69.95 for the meal. Our entire bill with tip was well over $100 for the 2 of us. I will never patronize this restaurant again. I’m at a loss how they manage to stay open; particularly with The Daily Grill just a few doors down (that restaurant is exceptional). In summary I would strongly recommend you stay away from Shorebird. Otherwise you only have yourself to blame for what transpires.
