She was fabulous at communicating and confirming the catering order. The food was DELICIOUS and the presentation BEYOND. This is my second time hiring Chef Suzy for catering and she continues to raise the bar when it comes to offering a phenomenal experience. I highly recommend her as she has become a must for when I need to arrange catering for weekends in the desert. The past year and a half has been extremely hard due to Covid, but I still wanted to throw an intimate birthday lunch for my partner and some friends. Suzy was beyond accommodating working with me to create a Mediterranean inspired menu that was light and flavorful. Her suggestions were delicious and paired nicely with one another. My guests could not stop talking about her offerings, which consisted of tandoori chicken skewers, wild caught grilled shrimp, and a smoked salmon tart. The hummus was delectable, creamy and accompanied with fluffy pita and crudite. Every dish complimented one another in perfect harmony. To top things off, Suzy even included a spice cake for us to enjoy the next morning with our coffee. The cake lasted maybe an hour before being reduced to crumbs! Most importantly, Suzy is such a joy! The passion she has for her craft comes through in her dishes. Thank you for everything Chef!

Chef Suzy prepared a wonderful luncheon to celebrate my mother's birthday. The family and friends ranged from ages 17 to 96. Suzy recommended serving a crab tower topped with shrimp. As an alternative she offered a tower with chicken in place of the crab. We planned the meal and the table setup two weeks in advance with several follow-up texts leading up to the event. She visited the venue in my house the day before the event . On the day of the event Chef Suzy and her team arrived early and rearranged furniture. She used my dishes, but her linens, decorating the table with an arrangement of silk hydrangea and candles (no fresh flowers owing to my guests' allergies.) Her interaction with the guests energized the meal for everyone and made for a fun time. Dessert was an extravaganza starting with her exquisite homemade cookies and ending with everyone tasting all proffered sweets including the store bought cake, ice cream and sorbet. Service was impeccable. Everything was cleaned and all furniture was moved back into place by Suzy's team once the party ended. The only delay in the proceedings was my having to work out the seating arrangement, which needed to be done to direct the serving of the appropriate plates (lesson learned.) The party itself went well and a good time was had by all, thanks to Suzy's detailed planning.
We had a five star experience with Chef Suzy. This woman is the most talented and imaginative chef. We started our event with a beer/ food pairing. We tried delicious beers from a deep coffee-tasting lager to a delightful creamy light beer. Later, we were served dinner with bursts of fresh flavors. Large white shrimp were marinated in herbs and spices with Moroccan rice. A side dish was presented of bell peppers stuffed with sausage and herbs. The "icing on the cake" was having the pleasure of working closely with Chef Suzy in planning our event. She truly loves her work and has such a bubbly personality. Thank you for the memorable gourmet meal, Chef Suzy!

Chef Suzy is a top notch caterer who delivers delicious food to your liking. She is wonderful to work with - listening carefully to plan your menu and she's very reliable, prompt and communicative. She made two fabulous salads and four delicious quiches for a bridal shower I had at my house. She gave me general recommendations for party planning such as having my powder room stocked, the air conditioning at a cool temperature, and making sure I had all the serving items I'd need. The food was beautiful and delicious and her staff was fabulous--Henry tended bar and remembered what each of the 40 guests was drinking; the young women who passed and kept the buffet neat and full were delightful; and Suzy herself went beyond her Cordon Bleu training to leave my kitchen spotless at the end of the evening. We had a great consultation over the phone, she came out to our venue walk-through early and set up a table with champagne and a very generous tasting (along with some extra treats). She was on time and very professional. Her food is to DIE for and her presentation is amazing. We had antipasta skewers, dates with cheese and her AMAZING marinated shrimp; all made by her personally and with ingredients from her own garden, no less! Everything Suzy does emphasizes personality and attention to detail. Not to mention, she is just a fabulous and kind person. I would highly recommend her for any of your catering needs!
