I've eaten a lot of donuts in my life. As I've aged, I have significantly reduced my intake to the point that it's now a treat I allow myself once a month or so. We lived in LA for 17 years and moved to the desert three years ago. LA offers many choices when it comes to donuts and I sampled as many as I could over the years. Today, I treated myself and my wife to a mix of Swiss Donut's finest. So far, I've tasted only the maple cruller and it was simply one of the best donuts I've ever had. It was light and buttery with a perfect crust of maple-flavored sweetness. Fantastic! One recommendation for Swiss Donuts (and many other small local businesses): don't charge extra for credit card purchases. I realize there are fees involved that must be covered, but the world has moved on from cash transactions. Just bake it into the price of the donut. (Pun intended). Don't give people a reason to stop and think about the 50 cents. Just give them these fabulous donuts and charge whatever you want!

These donuts are delicious!! I've had the raised glazed donut and the old fashioned and both were MAGICAL. Why are they so good??? They're also SO inexpensive! I am completely enchanted by this place- they are the best donuts I've ever had!

Waste of money. I have been wanting to grab something here for a while. I finally had a chance today and was totally disappointed. First, the cashier up charged both of my items, then charged a fee to use my card, and then charged tax. The croissant, bacon, egg and cheese was served in a little cardboard tray in a plastic bag. No napkins. Gross. And the sandwich had no taste whatsoever. Eggs must be powdered - no salt and pepper. Couldn't taste the cheese and could barely taste the bacon. Overall, a waste of money.

Creme filled donuts were not creme filled opened the donut and turns out there was like a dime sized ammount in them only. Should be called spread creme donuts or something wouldn't have disappointed me if I knew what I was getting before purchase but like a bad surprise it just puts you in a sour mood. 1 was completely

It's the first day of 2024 and I'm sitting here thoroughly enjoying a hot latte' and a Bear-claw from Swiss Donuts in Palm Desert. Both are so delicious, I had to share. The coffee is super smooth and creamy. Much better than any latte I've had in a long time. I enjoyed every sip. The bear-claw tasted just like the ones my dad would bake on weekends, when I was younger. Brought back great memories and a big smile to start the year of proper. The girl behind the counter is really sweet and I look forward to my next visit when I will definitely be back to try some of the other delicious baked goodies. The croissants looked perfect and there are lots of donuts and other goodies to choose from.

They make great donuts. One of the best is the Crumb Donut. For three straight days I arrived at 800am to find them sold out of this donut. My message would be that if that donut sells that fast, the make 10 batches of them. They make two batches...24 donuts?? Who knows. I never see them. Can I reserve a donut??

They make a good doughnut, and they are nicely presented. Fast and friendly service. They charge a one dollar convenience fee for credit card purchases, even though they have a sign that says contactless payment preferred. This is both counter to their agreement with the credit card company, and a way for them to have more cash sales so they can reduce the amount of income claimed with the IRS. The transaction merchant fee is just a cost of doing business for all of the restaurants.

Swiss Donut is consistently has great donuts at great prices. We love getting the Apple Fritters, they are crunchy and are chocked full of apples. You have to go to Swiss Donut for a fresh and delicious donut!

Been coming here for a while. Best donuts in town but lately they have been running put of everything early and I don't understand why. I mean by like 10 am, everything is gone. Not good at all. Need to make more, a lot more
