We went to the Venue for our anniversary and we were so pleasantly surprised. They had some of the best sushi we've ever had. We highly recommend the Tuna Tostadas, the Venue Roll and the Sandfish Roll. My husband had the oysters which were fresh and beautifully prepared. Our drinks were ice cold and the service was top notch! This is our sushi place from now on!
Without a doubt best Sushi in the desert. Service is exceptional and cannot beat the ambiance.
OMG..FABULOUS!!! We had Omakase which each course was beautifully prepared. Eggplant Roll, Wagu Beef, Umi, among others. All tender and delicious..there was a party in my mouth! Congratulations to our Chef..we will definitely come back. I can't say enough about the entire experience. Dianne Kay
Now that the summer heat has broken, I can't think of a nicer place to eat outdoors than the Patio of the Venue. Pretty lighting under the shade of the huge ficus trees. The service here has gotten warmer and friendlier. Server went out of her way to satisfy our every request last night. The novelty rolls are the best in the valley, because they meet the current trend of fish combos and sauces and flavors creatively, but always in ways that enhance the basic sushi, not drown it in unrelated sauces. And the yellowtail carpaccio remains a real favorite. Always a lot of locals here, which is a good sign.
Best sushi, sashimi, and creative maki in the Valley. Lot's of other acceptable choices but Venue wins hands down.
Not what we expected. Credit them for trying to put their own touch to otherwise traditional rolls, but ultimately, in my opinion, they fell short. And the soy sauce is much too sweet - not sure what they added to it.
A bad wine list if you want something other than sake.

No better sushi in the Coachella Valley - Great drink options including NA - and always treated like family!! Love this place!
The waiter was extremely courteous and the food portions were generous. Overall great atmosphere.

As many others say the service/hostess is awful. They don’t take reservations over the phone. Even once they open at 5. They claim you can make reservations online but we have tried for 3 days and while times claim they are available when you try to book it just errors out. Don’t waste your time or money as there are so many great restaurants on el paseo.
We have now been back a second and third time… do not go here! Nothing about this place is redeeming… same horrible hostesses and wait staff if very stuck up.
There are so many great restaurants in the valley, just do yourself a favor and don’t even try it.

Amazing food and great atmosphere! Love that it's very intimate and cozy . All the staff was very friendly and our server was amazing . We even received a free appetizer ticket for our next visit . The sushi was very fresh and delicious . Highly recommend.
Everything was amazing however I think it's way too pricey for what they serve great place to try but I probably won't go there again unless prices change
Wonderful Food was Fresh and delicious! We celebrated my b day and the crew gave me a b day card bery thoughtful.
Overall, a terrific experience. Sake, food, service excellent. Too bad El Paseo is partially closed off. Mini-obstacle course getting there. No fault of the restaurant.
Food was amazing and the staff went above and beyond to celebrate a birthday. Intimate with great care to details.
