Cartel employees are what make this a great coffee shop. The coffee is really good (I'm a Seattlite, so I'm kind of snobby about coffee). The baked goods are good, but nothing to write home about. It's the staff that make Cartel worth coming back to. Don't miss this spot to.enjoy really good coffee with some people that will make you feel happy all day long.

Visited Cartel Roasting & this is probably the best coffee spot in all of the Coachella valley. I ordered a flat white. It was divine, velvety & perfect. The espresso flavor was robust, sweet and aromatic. On top of that, the staff were incredible, personable & great spirited. Long story short, I cant wait to come back.

I had one bad experience here. I eventually went back and have been several times since and it's been great.

Cartel Coffee Co is where coffee goes to get its PhD in Palm Springs area. Order a drip and you’ll find yourself swirling it like a sommelier, suddenly able to describe tasting notes like “stone fruit” and “reassurance.” Best cortado in town and specialty drinks are extremely well balanced. The pastries are good, the caffeine is dialed in, and consider buying a bag of beans to remind you of how good life can be or a souvenir.

As most folks of my generation have discovered, a good coffee shop is always searched out in a hip town. Speaking subjectively to my experience as a coffee and espresso focused drinker, I can say that Cartel is the best in town. Why? They nail my drink every time to my exact preference regardless of who is at the counter. They do so quickly, with a smiling face and welcoming attitude, and they do this in a pretty small space. My drink of choice is typically a traditional breve cap, favoring a not overpowering hint of vanilla when I have a sweet tooth. Seemingly, they nail the espresso to creme ratio, and their foam art is the best garnish on the way in or out of town. You make my mornings special, thank you Cartel team.

Pumpkin CCL was delicious!

Stayed here to do some work and had a lot of time to kill before checking into my air bnb. Got there probably around 11, they had plenty of seating, between inside & outside. Had the CCL and it was delicious (dairy free!). Great customer service, everyone was so friendly! They were playing some great music.

Overall, awesome vibes!

Terrible service. Coffee not good. Aggressive when i asked to adjust the drink to add something and she poured the espresso aggressively and splashed on me and she said “oups” didnt even apologize. Worse coffee taste too. Sorry! Maybe be nicer

Baristas are super friendly which is hard to come by now n days lol. Drinks are yummy. I got an iced oat mocha with cinnamon… delicious. My partner ordered a whole milk cortado, pretty latte art which tell me they know how to properly steam milk. We also bought a ham and cheese croissant (we’ve been here 3 times and ordered the croissant 3 times haha.

Finally a PSL that uses Pumpkin Puree and not the yucky syrup! Ok ☺️ Cute vibe and the girls at the front have the best 👌 energy! Its the customer service every coffee spot should strive for!
