Coffee was delicious, but the lady at the counter was a bit rude and dismissive.

A great coffee shop to arrive at when you're in Palm Springs. The music and visuals all set the tone for a great coffee experience 👌🏾.

First and most important, batch-brew drip is good. No pour over because kettle is broken. No reusable cups for hot coffee (picture of miir cup on the wall, but no options to purchase one). Baristas clearly enjoy their job and having a good time. A little cramped and could use an interior decorator.

Again though, good beans, and that's better than everywhere else around here I've tried.

Great light roast drip coffee and pour over available throughout the day at this cute coffeeshop.

It is ideal for meeting up a friend and chat over coffee, a work from cafe day, and possibly taking a coffee aficionado on a date.

This place has outdoor seating available and every barista I met there was incredibly kind.

I was at a nearby event for about a week and tried their single origin drip and pour over coffee beans from Ethiopia, Costa Rica, Columbia, etc. and all were great.

This is just a review of the matcha but it was absolutely abysmal. Other than that the vibe, service, and location were great. My friends liked their coffee. If you are interested in matcha, look elsewhere

If you are a coffee snob this is the best and only place to go to in the desert. I got addicted to their grapefruit quad tonic. So good!

More a coffee shop than a cafe, the industrial design is attention grabbing and the service is friendly. The coffee is good although unremarkable. The small size of the shop does not invite you to leisurely enjoy a cup of joe. And the poor baristas are tucked behind a corner and a super narrow checkout counter when they are the best thing in the shop. Good vibe but average experience.

The best coffee in Palm Springs. If you are looking for a proper light roast drip, this is it. Try the fruit danish. Hope they open more locations in PS

The coffee is average. Not the worst in PS but definitely not the best either. Definitely not a community coffee shop as clientele is almost exclusively wealthy out of towners and almost $2 more a cup than other really good local spots !! A locals or cash discount in the future would make this feel much more like a community spot !

We decided to try Cartel Roasting based on the positive reviews. We like traditional espresso drinks and steer clear of flavored milky desserts of other coffee houses. The first time we went, we received a well made 4 oz cortado and 6 oz cappuccino. Both were great so we decided to make the one mile trek to Cartel again the following morning. Unfortunately, it was not the same experience. I received my drink first while my husband waited for his while they prepared several other orders rather than serving them together. Mine was fine; however, he received a very milky, full to the brim in an 8 oz cup, drink that was not a cappuccino but rather a latte. Based on our two visits, we feel that your experience at Cartel will be hit or miss. They can be great or they can be like many others and inconsistent.

A must have in Palm Springs for any coffee lovers. Delicious espresso drinks, a very friendly team, and at a cool location in uptown. The patio is lovely in the mornings
