We have been here a few times in the past and really liked it but the last two times the food quality seemed to have gone down. Most recently we had gristly chicken strips for $18 and on the side a plain solid clump of white rice for $6. The salad we had was $25 and tasted like something in it had gone bad. I hope it goes back to how it was as the patio is nice and we have always had friendly service.

4 adults and 2 kids. We arrived about an hour before closing so it was very empty which we loved. We sat outside so the waitress turned on the propane heaters for us. Loved that we stayed warm but also got to enjoy the fresh air. Everything we ordered was delicious. Highly recommend the firecracker orange chicken! Great food, kind waitress and quick service. Couldn’t ask for anything more. We will definitely come back next year for a visit when in town

We come here every time we visit Palm Springs. Chill kitschy vibe, super friendly. Food is awesome. Recommended: Chicken bahn mi and Fried chicken sandwich.

Took my parents out to lunch, we watched the waiter serve everyone around us, even thought we got there before. After 20 minutes of no water, menu or silverware we decided to leave, really disappointing. The only difference between us and everyone else was we weren’t white.
The food was overall good, and you can tell the ingredients are high quality. Our server was nice. We were put off by the person behind the bar (presumably the manager/bartender), who we heard make rude comments multiple times during lunch. As one example, he was incredibly rude and dismissive to a well-dressed man who entered and politely asked if they happened to be hiring. He loudly snapped at him for coming in during the “lunch rush” (there was no one waiting to be seated and a handful of people sitting/eating). A simple “not at this time” would’ve sufficed. Honestly it was just mean, and left a bad taste in our mouths. Just wanted to leave this review to let him know that customers notice how you treat people.

Everyone is extremely nice and very helpful. The freshness of the food is evident in every single bite! My favorite is the mixed greens salad with chicken fingers with homemade ranch and hot sauce.

Came to Chicken Ranch for a nice family lunch was lucky enough have received Osvaldo as a server. He went above & beyond his job to explain the menu, as well as making sure dietary restrictions were accommodated. We absolutely love the atmosphere & service. We hope to be back soon.
