We are in Palm Springs for a week and are thrilled to find this lovely restaurant! The atmosphere is cozy and upbeat. Everyone is friendly, and the food is fantastic! I had the ravioli pesto and my husband had the Duck.. It was his birthday and the owners were so sweet…

Food was delicious. Service a bit slow (not really a problem). Noisy however, especially with crying baby next table. Charming smaller restaurant - bravo.

First time visit to this restaurant. Can’t say enough good things about it. We’re locals, so we have visited most restaurants in the area and can say that this stands above most in quality of food offerings and service. You should definitely give it a try and see for yourself.

We visited here whilst passing through palm springs. Delicious food, save space for dessert as the home made cannoli is very special. Joy of joys really good espresso coffee. But the best part was the service, friendly and attentive. We sat outside which was a real treat. Wish you every success and highly recommend.

We sat at a hightop by the bar. Drinks and two pizzas. Bill seemed high, I checked and there was a overcharge of almost 40.00. They removed it and blamed it on a computer error. We'll go back, but check your bill.

Authentic Italian cuisine. House made pasta. The pasta fagiole was spot on and the arugula lentil salad was world class

Va tutto bene, perfecto per noi!Great restaurant. Cipolline Osteria’s Italian “inspired” dishes are perfect for the nights when we want to try something that is deliciously different yet very appealing to our Italian (Sicilian) palates. I don’t use the good, better, best comparisons because Cipolline’s just isn’t in any of the traditional Italian categories, and there are many. The Calamari Fritti with peppercinis and lemon garlic aioli is my new favorite calamari dish, it was flavored just right for me and cooked to perfection. This is a must try restaurant for anyone who enjoys Italian Cusine. We have already returned several times and have never been disappointed. Diane has introduced us to some wines that were just right for us. I would also recommend getting on the mailing list so you can find out about special events like the upcoming “Vino Della Note” presentation. This was our choice for the 2024 Dine Out For Life.Keep up the good work, see you again soon. Gracia tutti, ciao.

My party of 4 dined here on a Sunday evening. so happy to see that this new restaurant was full! We were there for the multitude of plant based options on their menu and we were not disappointed! I had the plant based risotto, which I loved, and my husband had the polenta dish that he also enjoyed. our Omni friends enjoyed their dishes as well. so glad to have another local restaurant where vegans can go for a nice dinner.

I liked this place...so glad it opened in our neighborhood Service was great Warm welcome from hostess...explained the menu Had to take food home because the portions were plentiful This note has nothing to do with the restaurant but the neighborhood Looking at the run down motels along this stretch makes me hopeful that other businesses in our neighborhood will clean up this stretch and open something as charming as Cipolline Osteria!

I was excited to try this place after wishing for years something would open here. Great to have a terrific new place walking distance to home. The ambiance is as I remember it 20+ years ago (minus the piano player and lounge singer). Charming old school Palm Springs vibe. Tried the crab cakes and they were fresh and plentiful. Tagliatelle al Ragu was a generous portion and the fresh made pasta perfectly cooked. I was warned the Speziata pizza was spicy and boy were they right. It was delicious. Paulina our server was delightful, professional and had a great vibe. I have to assume the huge round banquet tables will eventually be replaced with normal dining tables for the upper portion of the restaurant. I wish the bar was bigger to be able to sit at and enjoy an appetizer, but it's pretty limited seating barside with a couple high tops as well. Overall A+ experience. Welcome to the neighborhood Cipolline!

Just went for our first time and we will be back. Friendly staff and great food. Everything we had was good. Pizza might be best in town!! They ferment dough for 24 hours. Makes for a thin, crispy crust. Bravo!

So excited to have this new restaurant so close to our home. When I saw that the overall review was lower that expected, I noticed that many of the reviews were from 2009, 2010 and 2011 for a completely different restaurant. YELP, get your act together!!! This is a brand new and wonderful restaurant!!! I started with a lovely glass of Prosecco and my husband had a Barbara (I do think the wines were a bit pricey). We shared these light and delicious crab cakes with home made focaccia. I had the veggies over polenta which was amazing and Doug had chicken marsala with homemade pasta. Everything was delicious. We will be coming back here a lot!!!

Well, 3 of the 4 of us did not care for Cipolline Oesteria. What a huge disappointment. Two of us got the eggplant polenta with veggies. The polenta was the consistency of oatmeal. 3 teeny tiny pieces of eggplant and the whole thing was flavorless. When I complained about the eggplant- I told them I had been looking forward to it for 2 weeks since I made the reservations. I should have known when she put the plate in front of me and said veggies over polenta. I said, "And eggplant too, right?" She mumbled yeah. They offered to bring more on the side. It was a ramekin with the most pathetic unappealing eggplant I've ever seen (I had to smell it to make sure it wasn't pork pieces - looked like it to me - see photo). I never salt my food but had to with this. I still barely ate 1/3rd of it. Oh, no mushrooms either despite it also being in the description of the entree. See photo. What is so weird is that they brought me extra eggplant and my friend's risotto had mushrooms in it so clearly they had these items on hand. They were just being stingy about it. My friend who also got the eggplant polenta also didn't finish hers either and had the same complaints. Funny part? The server and host said they were going to change the menu entry to put eggplant at the end of the sentence since it's not the feature of the entree! Ok, that's useful to me at the moment. My other friend ordered the lemon risotto. She thought it lacked flavor too and we were surprised at the small amount she got. Look at the photo - there is barely enough to cover the bottom of the dish. The last friend got the Lenticcia salad and he liked it but his wife also tried some and she ended up asking for the salt again!! Oh, we wanted pepper too but no pepper at the table. The service was nice about the whole thing but not much they can do when the kitchen is the problem. I don't complain often about prices but $20 for a glass of Chardonnay and you only offer one brand so you're stuck paying that then $26 for polenta and veggies, with tax it was $50.25 just for me and add a (nice) tip, it was over $60. The best part? The awesome company! We always have fun and share some good laughs! We won't be visiting CO any time soon.
