A little austere and unpleasant but food is fairly good. Order at counter type.

I ran into this place with my family on our way to the Starbucks in the same shopping center. Being from El Salvador, we were really excited to find it out there since we're not Palm Springs locals. When we arrived, we were a little hesitant to go inside because we could see that it was open, but empty. I looked up the reviews, and they looked pretty good. When I went to order, the woman at the front counter did not look pleased to have customers. Her attitude was not very pleasant or welcoming and she barely said any words to me which really discouraged me to order anything but still gave it a chance. We ordered coffee, horchata and empanadas. The same woman delivered our food to the table and did not say one single word to us which again, was very unpleasant. The coffee had barely any flavor, only the smell of cinnamon. The horchata, was the powder mix that you can buy at any Hispanic store, and for it's taste, pretty overpriced which we ended up dumping down the sink. The empanadas were pretty decent, but still lacked flavor. I wouldn't recommend this place, not so much because of the food, but because of customer service that we were provided which the place being empty now makes total sense. We still had to go to Starbucks to get coffee of better quality because we had a long drive home and needed real caffeine. It's unfortunate that our first experience at this establishment was such a disappointment. The woman that we had this experience with, was wearing a white traditional blouse that says "El Salvador" on it. So being someone who has customer service work experience under my belt I'll give you a little word of advice lady "you really need to work on your customer service skills or find a different line of work". If I could give the place 0 stars for customer service, I would but unfortunately it's not an option.

I had the most magically wonderful revueltas and mushroom pupusas here! They were so good, I tried to get them again the next night but they had closed before I got there. I thought about going for lunch the next day, but they were closed also. I had to leave town, but I am still thinking about these amazing pupusas...

The bean and cheese puposa was good. Mushroom and cheese puposa 6/10. Horchata made with soy milk thats a hell no for me. The beef and cheese puposa 2/10. The plaintains 10/10. The pickled cabbage and red dipping sauces ill pass. Free surface parking lot. Make sure call in advance to make sure they are open. Its a small mom and pop shop with only three tables. Its best to just order takeout and leave.

Best pupusas in town, and in the state. Really good. They also have some great platters that I also recommend.

Our last night in Palm Springs and we found this place and their papusas on DoorDash and decided that was the way to end our visit. We ordered bean, pork, beef, and shrimp papusas as well as a shrimp tostada. The shrimp tostada according to my friend was FREAKING AMAZING and she said she could have bathed in that sauce. The papusas were also awesome. Our favorite was the pork one but all were great. My only complaint was the curtido was bland and slightly disappointing. I wish it had more tang and flavor as that is one of my favorite things about papusas. Overall I’d recommend this location but temper expectations for the curtido.
