Escena Palm Springs

We came here for lunch on an early December afternoon. The hostess was very nice and welcoming. We opted to sit outside, and she asked if we wanted sun or shade. We ended up at a table with an umbrella so we could have a little of both. Our server came to our table quickly, and after ordering our drinks, gave us serveral minutes to look at the menu. We opted for the Green Goddess sandwich and the Turkey Club. Both were excellent! The views could not be beat! We will be back!

Great service and fabulous view of the golf course. We got seated quickly as we made the reservation through the app. Overall, it was a nice and relaxing dining experience.

Beautiful location, excellent food and great service! Always nice for breakfast but especially gaffer a round of 18 holes!

Fabulous as always. I thought the sliders were a bit dry but will order a proper hamburger next time!

Enjoyable lunch. Great staff! Food was good. Tortilla soup wasn't the best. I'm not a fan of the tomato base. Prefer a chicken stock instead.

Superb service, we have a great servers since it's my brother's birthday dinner. But wish they could put lights at night by the man made river that they have or just the palm tress cause we went there for the view. We got steak and short ribs which we like a lot for being soft and perfectly cooked. We got some side of fries which is salty ( put too much salt) and black rice was good. Drinks were perfect. All in all it was a good experience, we might try going day time to try it out as well.

Two issues - 1. When we were seated it was a good 20 minutes before the wait staff came to us, and that was only after we went to the front to remind them, we were here. 2, They need to do better with the umbrellas, once it is past 1pm the sun is merciless, and we kept moving our table to better shade ourselves.

Food was good, but service was terrible. We waited 10 minutes for water. Drinks were not refilled when requested. Asked for extra salad dressing that never came. Ordered chips that came late, halfway through our meal.

Good breakfast options. Tasty. Except breakfast potatoes were cold (they no longer offer hashbrowns--which we preferred 10-fold to the breakfast potatoes). Amazing views. Great outdoor space. Friendly staff.

This is such a beautiful spot to take in the view. Very relaxing and fun place to meet for drinks and food.

Escena Grill is where I always take friends who are coming to Palm Springs for the first time. The view is stunning! It looks across the golf course to the airport and mountains in the distance. Lunch on their beautiful patio is always a joy. I've been many times, and not just with those new to the city. My friends and I often eat there. I was surprised and delighted by the new menu. I had an absolutely delicious Arugula & Lump Crab Salad. I am sorry to say that I paid no attention to what my three friends had. We were having too much fun! As always, the service was great. Thanks Escena Grill for another lovely time with you!

Food was fine, but not great. We went toward the end of lunchtime and had the feeling everyone just wanted to get us out and go home. Which I do understand but it's not the experience expected, given the prices. But the views are stunning and it's a pleasant environment for dining.

The wait staff is understaffed so therefore the service is poor and everything takes too long. The staff is hustling but they need more of them. The food is consistently good and the view from the outdoor dining is terrific. It will not keep us from going back but this issue needs to be addressed
