If you’re into vinyl and coffee, Gré Records & Coffee is a super unique spot with a cool, laid-back vibe. The mix of a record store, café, and small art space gives it that vintage, “hidden gem” feel that a lot of people love. The coffee is solid—especially the iced drinks—and pairs well with simple bites like toast or light snacks.

Gré is the BEST coffee in Palm Springs, and honestly, the best in the desert. I love, love, absolutely love this place. But it is not just about the coffee, it is the whole experience. You walk in and you are surrounded by music that connects generations, a large collection of records, and a space that feels alive. Some days there is a DJ, other days it is just the magic of flipping through records and getting lost in the atmosphere. Jim, an artist, makes what is easily the best coffee in the desert, no question. Kelly, a photographer and artist, together with Jim, has created something truly special here, a place that feels thoughtful and personal. We even have one of Kelly's iconic large prints at our place in LA, which says everything about the level of taste and intention behind the space. It's even signed by her!!!! They make you feel welcome right away, like you belong there. Every time I go, I end up getting two coffees, one to enjoy in the moment and one to take with me, just so I can hold onto it a little longer. If you are in Palm Springs, do not skip Gré Records & Coffee. It is one of those places that brings together the past and the present in a way that stays with you.

Vibe is nice, but espresso wasn’t very good. Appreciate the establishment getting me a refund, but don’t recommend this place if you’re looking for a smoother drink

Comfortable, friendly, and welcoming.
Awesome mellow place for coffee, tea, hanging with a friend, listen to music or just relax for a while.
The world would be a happier place if we had thousands of Gre Coffee & Records to chill out in across every city and town, and there was only a single Starbucks back in Seattle.
Funky and unique space with comfy couches and secluded spots.
Supercool staff.
No wi-fi, and no phone, selfie or laptop use allowed.

I like it a lot!! Coffee is so good! I am hearing impaired so it can be loud for people like me. I’m just old.
Evaluating the records, not the coffee. Felt like flipping through thrift store quality at record store prices. There’s popular artists and titles but you could find cleaner copies for a better price elsewhere. Many of the records I flipped through in the bins had fully split seams.
Amazing service and better record selection

Awesome place. Preset coffee drink options are somewhat limited so maybe not the place for your lavender lattes but really cool vibes in the store. Great record collection.

Terrible location.
Update: Wanted to enjoy this place as a record collector but it was just off putting with the location and hours creating difficult availability. No morning coffee since it opens at 11 am. Hard to find unless you're a regular. Just my opinion.
Eclectic and fun record store with the best iced latte! We loved coffee so much we went back to get the second iced vanilla latte.
There was a dj when we arrived and they were playing good music.
My two girls and I liked the ambiance of the place and the coffee!
The place was tucked in little alley at the end.
This was recommend by my daughter’s friend who lives in west coast. Definitely worth the visit when in Pam Springs.
