One of the best neighborhood donut places you will ever find. Especially when you get there when they open and the donuts are still hot. I have been going there for over 20 years and sad when I left state and can no longer taste there donuts. There the kind of store that if you have no money they will still serve you. It happened to me a couple times. If more restaurants were like them the world would be a better place. Get there early because they do sell out.

Ok ok ok... I've been to Voo Doo... I've been to Top Pot... I've even been to Winchell's and for all you Canadians here in the desert, yes, I've been to Tim Hortons. You can keep your Acai Salmonberry Bacon Pickle banana shake Donuts. This place just has the classics. And they're AMAZING. Don't bother with any other place in town. Just come here, get your dozen and go home and make everyone at your house happy. Don't come to stay, because the atmosphere, well, there is none. But do come here to get your donuts...and come early too, because they sell out and go home. And it is usually slim pickins after 9am or even 8am on the weekends. Yes... Do it.

About 13 years ago at this point, my grandpa brought over a few donuts from this very restaurant. Call it a chain reaction if you will, but we still get donuts here. Comparing it to company owned shops with big machinery and factories pumping out ingredients, this still beats out the competition so easily. Now I’m no expert as well, but I feel like this feeling of family that these donuts brought between me and my relatives really helped and still does to this day. Thanks for being here, and bringing the greatest atmosphere I’ve ever known to my life.

Yum!!!! We love The Jelly Donut! Great donuts. The jelly donuts are filled the way they should be, with lots of jelly. And the raised sugar twists make for the best mid-morning snack. There's a gym next door if you feel especially guilty before/after having a donut, but whatever you do, stop by. The owners are friendly and wonderful, and prices are entirely reasonable.
Parking: There's always plenty of room in the parking lot.

Oh, Jelly Donut. If I could write a novel, I would. But I’ll get to the point. I’ve been coming to this spot for over two decades. I’m by no means a regular, but the owner and his wife seem to treat me like I am. Every. Time. Their service is always so welcoming and they deserve the world. Bar none. Beats any restaurant, diner, shop, etc.
I don’t just take service into account as to why I love this place so much. Whenever asked, “Where are the best donuts out here?” Or “What are the best donuts I’ve ever had?” My answer, with God as my witness is this:
“Jelly Donut. On Vista Chino and Sunrise. Near the Albertsons and (now, steel) gym.”
These donuts are not your typical Swiss donut, winchells, or gas station donuts. No no. You can feel the underside crust, the right amount of sugar, the dough itself feels so much more fresh than anywhere else, it doesn’t leave a weird after taste like others do. And trust me, I’ve looked high and low for a donut as good as this place.
Locals, please continue to support this wonderful shop. Tourists/Snowbirds. Do yourself a favor and stop by to pick yourself up some of the best donuts you’ll ever eat.
