Wonderful from start to finish! Everyone is always so nice and accommodating. We ordered the Old fashioned schnitzel, steak and a couple of pear martinis. It was all delicious and our favorite meal of the trip so far!

This is the first time we've been to Johannes. The Ahi tuna tartare, seafood salad, and mussel appetizers were fantastic. The duck schnitzel was bland but the Papa's, and Mama's were delicious as was the mushroom soup. The cocktails were great. We will definitely be back to try more items on the main menu.

Well-prepared and presented food. Very nice selections including fish of the day, and other specials of main course, appetizers, salad/soup. Attentive but not effusive service, just right! Amazing wine selection. I went with Austrian Pinot/Zweigelt red. Great accompaniment to green peppercorn schnitzel, and spätzle with dill cucumber salad. This is my second visit. I'll return!

While we have had Stephanie as a bar tender / server before, this was the first time she waited on us at the table. She was amazing as ever. So incredibly attentive .....made us feel incredibly special......super helpful with helping out guests make decisions about their entrees. We had the usual and it was every bit as delicious as always. We love this place it is easily one of our favorite places in Palm Springs and really one of our favorites period.

My wife & I made a reservation at Johannes for our 5th Wedding Anniversary, during our trip to Palm Springs. EVERYTHING WAS OUTSTANDING FOR US! The atmosphere and service was above & beyond, and the food top-notch, delicious & delectable. We ordered the Escargot and Cheese Spätzeln for apps, the Halibut special & Lamb Rack for entrees, and Crème Brûlée for desert. As far as fine dining goes, the price was very reasonable, as well. I cannot speak higher of our experience. A perfect Anniversary dinner!

Our first time here. The place was well decorated with all the right touches. It was a small place but felt big because of character and ambience. The waitress was not nice and ignored us to the point even the bus boy noticed and started to help by asking her to go to the table. When our food arrived it was overcooked most likely sitting under heat lamps too long. The price was overpriced and we would not go back again.
