We visited Johns on our return from Joshua Tree.
When we initially walked in, we thought they only served burgers, as there menu was not easily visible; somewhat hidden behind the drop ceiling.
When we walked back in, we ordered our food at the counter, and had our food delivered at our table, one meal at a time. Each meal was brought out separately, opposed to serving all meals at once/same time.

This is what a California Diner should be. John's is a throwback of years gone by in the most wonderful way. the way it smells, the way it looks- the food, the ordering counter, literally everything. John's is one of the most complete places to eat in Palm Springs
