Food was very good! However, the meals are very filling and in large portions. Staff was super friendly. There was a decent amount of seating, indoor and outdoor. Not too much noise, easy to talk across the table. The music was not too loud and a perfect background noise. 10/10 recommended!

Went here tonight and while the food was good I was very disappointed with the Jumbo Ravioli. It was $20 and only came with 5 pieces that weren't very big. Didnt feel full after and my family had to share theirs with me... they def need to make it an 8-10 piece for that price

This place is the real deal, run by actual Italians using authentic family recipes. It seriously feels like a little slice of Italy right here in California. The food was next-level delicious, every bite full of rich flavor. Their tiramisu and cappuccino were spot on, just like you’d get in Rome. The bartender totally knew his stuff and made some amazing drinks to round out the meal. Hands down one of the best Italian dining experiences I’ve had outside of Italy!

I'm from Arizona. Every time we visit Palm Springs, Kalura Trattoria is a must for dinner. Honestly, you can't go wrong with any dinner choice. Drinks are excellent as well.

Ive been coming to this restaurant now 3 years never have i had a complaint. I rave about this restaurant to everyone. I bring Italians friends from all over who are my friends so i have no problem with the food except this Sunday i ordered whst i always order penne Pollo pesto gluten free, my gluten free penne was over cooked n it was mushy, and i had to ask for water 2 times. My partner order the gluten free pizza that was excellent. Im sharing this so you csn be aware of thst mistake or was your kitchen staff not paying attention. We’re bringing our friend this Wednesday for his first hope to have a better experience.

A Perfect Evening at Kalura Trattoria

Kalura Trattoria in Palm Springs truly turned my evening around. After a disappointing experience at another restaurant, this place completely restored my faith in hospitality. From the moment we arrived, the warmth of the staff was palpable. The hostess was incredibly sweet, and our waitress, Daniela, was an absolute gem kind, attentive, and genuine.

The food? Absolutely phenomenal. Our party enjoyed the ribeye, lasagna, caprese salad, and capellini checca each dish was cooked to perfection, clearly made with love and care. For dessert, they brought out a beautiful panna cotta with a candle to celebrate my birthday, which was such a thoughtful touch. We also asked for a crème brûlée, and it was homemade and heavenly.

What really stood out was how accommodating and gracious the staff were. When the wind picked up, they quickly and kindly moved us inside without hesitation. Every person working there made us feel welcome and taken care of.

Kalura Trattoria is a gem, and I truly hope they start getting the recognition they deserve. I’m so thankful to them for salvaging my night and turning it into something truly special.

It’s an ok place. Food is not great, just ok. The outside patio is cute but other than that it doesn’t feel authentic. We haven’t seen or spoken to any Italians working there and the menu is just generic italian with pasta and pizzas but nothing stood out to us. We tried both pasta carbonara and pizza Quattro stagioni. The white wine was ok and the Negroni was passable: served in a martini glass and without ice. One of the waiters walked around splashing oil and vinegar onto small plates in every table without a word and without much of an explanation. The oil is very light and almost flavorless and it overall feels more like a cheap gimmick than a special treat or courtesy appetizer. You also get a complimentary focaccia which is ok but again doesn’t taste like its fresh out of the oven.

Until tonight this has been a favorite for several years. We went to the outdoor tables which were empty for a couple of glasses of wine and appetizers. The music inside was too loud and they would not turn it down so we chose outside. The hostess came out and said we could not sit there unless we were going to order dinner. We left. We will not be back.
