Old school perfection. Get the short ribs! Bartenders are the best. Dirty vodka martini with bleu cheese olive done right. Was waiting for Mr. S to walk in and order a jack on the rocks. Miss this place so much.
This place oozes classic Palm Springs class and positive lounge lizard vibes. As a vacation destination for people who already live in a vacation-land, Melvyn’s epitomizes relaxation, good times, and a mid-century time capsule of American fervor. Cool bonus: we were told Frank Sinatra had his 65th birthday party at Melvyn’s! How cool!
Everything was outstanding. The chicken pot pie is definitely large enough to share, with a golden crust and delicious chicken filling. José was a great server and paced our appetizers, salads and entrees perfectly. The space is classy and the bar, with a piano player, made for a fabulous evening. Highly recommend.
