If you're looking for European-centric comfort food in a fine dining setting in Palm Springs, Miro's has got you covered. My wife and I met up with my dad in Palm Springs while we were on vacation, and he left it up to me to choose the restaurant. My dad is from Poland, and doesn't like spicy food, so I zeroed in on Miro's, based on Yelp reviews. I was not disappointed. From the moment you are greeted at the entrance, this place delivers great service. Our server, Hugo, was impeccable. My dad can be difficult to please, and Hugo handled him masterfully. I had originally reserved a table on the patio, then switched to indoors the day before, because I was worried it would be too hot outside. I regretted doing this once we got there, because even though it was a bit warm out at 6:00pm the patio is fully shaded, and it would have felt fine to sit out there. I had the beef stroganoff with egg noodles, and the beef was perfectly tender in a delicious creamy mushroom sauce. My wife had the traditional combo platter, which was a lot of food, definitely value for your money. The combo came with goulash, cabbage rolls, and chicken paprikash. All were very good, and wifey was still eating the leftovers two days later. Pops ordered the schnitzel, which I tried and I thought was excellent, very fluffy breading and perfectly seasoned and cooked pork cutlet. The Old Man wasn't happy with the choice of sides: you get a choice of cabbage salad or lentil soup, and he wasn't in the mood for either choice. In the end he went with the salad (which was really good!), but maybe they could have some green salad available for those patrons that don't dig cabbage salad? Funny thing, my dad has been coming to PS for 40 years and he'd never heard of this place (you're welcome, dad). Bottom line: great food in a beautiful setting with great service makes Miro's a place to remember.

The gem of Palm Springs. One of the best meals we've enjoyed here. Food and service beyond compare to several high end restaurants that have delivered far less for far more. Crab cakes, stroganoff were delicious. The pork osso buco was like butter. The tastiest I've ever had. Outdoor patio at sunset was heavenly. Will definitely be back.

I had dinner here once with my husband and sister-in-law while in Palm Springs. We loved the place. We started with bread with hummus. I had a small portion of lamb meatballs with couscous and cauliflower soup. I had Mediterranean chicken with artichoke hearts, wilted spinach, stewed tomato, and Yukon gold potatoes. Everything was fantastic. My Erdinger nonalcoholic beer was not very good. We shared olive oil cake with fresh blueberry sauce and whipped cream. I rate this restaurant 6 out of 5. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. The ambiance is very good, including the artwork on the walls. The service was fine.

This is a wonderful restaurant! Beautiful inside and out. Great service! This time we shared a cabbage roll appetizer, yummy, which they divided for us, such a refreshing move. Then beef stroganoff with mashed potatoes, so good and rich. Also split for us. And the delicious cabbage salad. For dessert Olive oil cake with blackberries and whipped cream, really good. Husband had Delirium Tremens beer which he loved. After a good dirty martini i had a nice glass of BR Cohn Cabernet.

Perfect dining experience. We sat outside and enjoyed cocktails before ordering dinner. Started with Cabbage Salad and then Beef Stroganoff and Miro's Combo plate was served. Waiter was very attentive and friendly. Enjoyed the evening as always. Make sure and make a reservation.

Excellent service. Dining room was pleasant and not too loud. Chairs and table were comfortable. Food was really quite average. We were 4 and ordered stroganoff (x2), sampler and roasted veal special. We tried the cabbage salad and lentil soup. The only memorable item was the lentil soup. There aren’t many options in Palm Springs for really good food and this isn’t one of them.

Love Miro's. At first when I ordered chicken paprikas, I was taken aback as it wasn't the Hungarian chicken paprikas that I grew up with. But I think I might like it better now. I love the combo of chicken paprikas (with spaezel), beef goulash, and cabbage rolls and with the cabbage salad and I have also enjoyed the Budapest schnitzel. It's a nice touch that they have blankets for outdoors on the cooler evenings.

Once again Miro's did not disappoint. We arrived without a reservation after the place we had them for was locked up tight. Our party of six was seated with little wait. One of our friends was craving stroganoff and was leaving town today. He's able to leave happy. And I can't say enough about the staff. All smiles, especially our favorite waiter, Cat. Thank you again.
