This is a great hike right in the core area of downtown Palm Springs. The views of the valley are awesome, especially at night during a full moon!Playground: There is no playground here.Restrooms: There are no public restrooms here.
Pretty rough trail. So wear some good footwear. Especially steep from Museum up or down.I did it from the North Lykken Trail head north to the museum which is a good way in the morning or afternoon sun

A moderately difficult ascent from the Ramon trail head led to beautiful views and some longhorned goat sightings. But the descent behind the Museum was considerably more difficult and less enjoyable, even for the more experienced hikers.
