Everything is great ... except ... don't order the kids pizza for $15 -- just grab a slice to go for $5 -- it's the same slice. We brought to this the attention of the supervisor, and received an non-compelling explanation.

Food was meh, acceptable but nothing great... but the price was alright so I'll give it a pass; you're not here for food anyway. Love the view though. We came here on a rainy/snowy day, so we were able to watch the clouds come and go, snow rainbow rain sun... we saw all of them. We enjoyed the experience. Our waiter was also extremely nice and attentive. Food: 3 stars Service: 5 stars View: 5 stars

It was wholey and incredulously expensive but I had a blast. The ride up was thrilling and breathtaking. The restaurant had a beautiful overlook into the valley but you have to be on the above floor to really get a great view without tourists blocking the view. We ordered the curry, lamb and spinach salad. Normally you would get the salad before the meal but the server forgot. He brought the food first and the salad 10 minutes later. Despite the low volume of people service took forever. It was a great dinner however and the food was enjoyed.

Gorgeous views! You can make a day trip out of it. The food was impeccable ??? I tried the half duck and my hubby tried the prime rib. We were both very happy with our meal. It was the perfect evening for his birthday and made it memorable. Highly recommend!!

I had lunch here with my husband and sister-in-law. We had a reservation and got a table by the window with a lovely view of trees, snow and one of the observation decks. I had a delicious Autumn Salad with butternut squash chunks, walnuts, lettuce and a great dressing. I had tea to drink. My husband had a burger without a bun. My sister-in-law had a spinach salad with chicken. To reach this restaurant you must buy a ticket for the aerial tramway to the top of Mt. San Jacinto.

The highlight of our trip up the mountain was Frankie, the bartender. The food was really excellent and the view is as amazing as they say. One tip: make reservations at the restaurant. They will get you on the next available tram to the top.Vegetarian options: There are a few options for vegetarians.

The best part is being to ear with a fantastic view of the valleys below.
TLDR: Go for the view not the food. Food will be delivered LUKE-WARM. Overall, Peaks Restaurant is WAY too expensive for the POOR quality of food/wine delivered. Eat at the cafeteria/bar outside for same view, similar food, and appropriate prices. Or better yet, enjoy a beautiful tram ride and return to the valley-floor for dinner. We made reservations (party of five) to enjoy a meal with the amazing view that is part of the experience here. Unfortunately, we were seated in a third-level-corner that removed any “peak-like” view dining-experience. A request to move was quickly dismissed by a young hostess. (NOTE: It was a Monday night, not busy) - Nevertheless, we ordered appetizers (spin dip, shrimp, soup of the day) and entrees (duck, ravioli, meatloaf, autumn salad) and two glasses of wine. Food was luke-warm and bland when delivered and frankly not the quality-level of food I would expect at this price point. No one in our party finished the apps or entrees that were put before us. My creamy ravioli was what I would expect to eat from a frozen Costco meal - which may not be far from what was actually plated. Servers and busboys were friendly. Overall, this was not the experience I wanted/expected to enjoy and do hope that Peaks Restaurant can be something great one-day.

The food was better quality than expected and the service was a excellent! Prices were higher than I would normally pay but that's because of the novelty of it all. More a date night spot than a kid friendly meal spot.

Cannot comment on the food as we simply sat down to have something to drink after our hike and admire the view.
