We had a tasty lunch here on their beautiful patio in the sculpture garden. My only critique is they didn't seem to have enough staff and the service was a bit slow, particularly when it came to having the table cleared and getting the bill.

Beautiful atmosphere. Outside patio seating. Oven baked pizza and sangrias. Very beautiful place outside the museum. Highly recommend

After touring the wonderful museum, we wanted to stop by the bistro for a quick drink. They wouldn’t willingly sit us at a table or give us a cup of water since we didn’t order food. Upon asking for a cup of water, the owner repeatedly said we needed to buy water and the folks in the kitchen started snickering at us. I do not recommend a stop here. There’s many alternative cafes and restaurants a walk away to grab drinks or food with better service.

We were looking forward to re-visiting the Art Museum, but this we only arrived on Sunday afternoon without sufficient time, and would be leaving on Thursday morning, missing the Thursday-Sunday operating hours. My husband and I did have just enough time to relax with a shared hummus plate and a glass of cotes de provence rose wine each. Nice way to start a brief getaway holiday in PS!

I went here twice while on my last trip out to PS (1st week in April), visiting the museum both times, on 2 separate weekends: once on a Saturday and the 2nd time on a Friday. it's cool that it's connected to the museum. The Saturday we were there I enjoyed the wine testing they had to offer (4 different ones) plus you could pay a little extra for the desert wine, and I had the 2 different kinds of humus that they offer and both were good. I enjoyed 2 of the wines more than the others but that's why you "try" them. The following Friday I went again with another couple of friends, and they had a couple of select wines for 5.00, and I enjoyed one over the other. Had the hummus again as well. They also offer small, wood fired pizzas for sharing, which I have had and are tasting enough for lunch or afternoon snack, but not this time.I had the same waitress both times and she was pleasant enough, I think she lightened up a little bit more the 2nd time I was there. The 2 different hostesses were both friendly and enjoyable.I would recommend this place, but especially if you are already there enjoying the museum.

Waited ten 15 minutes being ignored by staff and so we left. Not their best day, and we could tell that they were understaffed..however others that came in after us were served. Looked like a delightful place to have a quick drink after looking at the wonderful art exhibits, but it wasn't meant to be for us.

The amazing aromas from this restaurant waft up to the main floor of the Art Museum! The indoor tables are quirky animal booths and we were impressed by the open wall into the theatre. We were seated outside at very distanced tables (there are maybe 8 in the whole courtyard). You can reserve a table by emailing them online; someone will confirm the day of. The food was all scrumptious - we had the mezze platter (olives, pita bread, and hummus), curried chicken salad (which can be shared by two), and a flatbread that we mostly took back to the hotel. Our server, Shawn, was adorable!

Beautiful setting, very nice service, food was excellent. Really enjoyed the wine tasting (available Saturdays only!) for a very reasonable price of $16 for 4 wines.

Three of us had lunch here on 12/9/21 after visiting the Palm Desert Art Museum. We sat outside in the sculptor garden. The food (chicken soup and grilled cheese or tuna melt sandwiches) were great, the service was good and we'd eat here again. The bistro has an extensive wine list.
