I'm writing this review particularly for our server, Karen Valladarez. She was truly an angel; a spectacular being. I was not just in awe of her service, but also her presence, care, and even compassion. The world needs more people (an employees) like Karen... honored to be served by her.

Great bar staff
We stayed at the adjoining hotel for a conference. The menu is limited a day the food is decent, pretty on par for what you would expect for a hotel bar, but the staff was amazing. Everyone was super helpful and accommodating even when you could tell they were overwhelmed and stressed they were beyond friendly.
Great bartenders
We dined here on Tuesday night, 12/14. The promised website menu has been changed to a simple (and simplified) paper menu. We ordered the fried calamari, the chicken salad, and the cheese burger. We were told the desserts were "caramel cheese cake, mini ice cream tubs from Haagendaz or B&J, or a chocolate brownie". The calamari was calamari sticks (i.e., from Costco) and they were rubbery. We cut off the breading in an attempt to dip the calamari in some sort of sauce but they were still chewy. The chicken salad was unremarkable. The burger was tasteless. The waitress was very apologetic. We skipped dessert. As we went back to our room, we stopped by the hotel pantry/ gift shop. The shop offers food to go. WAITAMINUTE! There was the same chicken salad I just ate. It is there in the panty shop! Ditto to the desserts. These folks are taking prepared food and putting it on a plate. The calamari probably is from Costco and just microwaved on site. It is possible they do not have a cook at this restaurant, let alone a chef. Pass for cause.
Bartenders very attentive, prices aren't bad, drinks were good. I am sure my overall experience was improved by the great couple from Canada we set next to it. Hotel is very well decorated. At the end of the day though, it's just a hotel bar.
Great little bar/restaurant in The Renaissance Hotel. Fun cocktails & amazing soup. Jeremy a terrific bartender & super friendly guy!Works at lightening speed, extremely busy place when I was there. Very tasty seasonal complementary specials!
Get the good drinks inside not at the pool. The food is on point and I cook better than most restaurant's

We drank and dined here several times when staying for 5 days over Christmas. The staff are 5 *.The food was excellent and the cocktails very good. The staffwrre helpful with dietary issues .great menu recommendations and very entertaining. Observed them dealing with a lady who had over indulged on Christmas Eve in a charming tactful way. Best choice for food in the immediate licalitu and great outdoor patio with fire pit. Loved it.
Drinks and shared plates! Move outside if you want for a bit warmer climate. Great place to meet with friends or co-workers.
we sat by the fire pit and enjoyed live music on the patio, as we overlooked the beautiful pool. The servers took great care of us and the craft cocktails were awesome.
