This is typically a fun place to go. They have some good drinks and fun ones too in pineapples and stuff. I wish the place was actually a little bit bigger because it can get really busy and really loud sometimes. The service CAN be subpar at times. Getting a bartender for a drink is a misssion sometimes. Food is good. Overall it's a fun place to go once in a while.
Tonga hut is a real deal tiki bar, by far my favorite we visited on our Palm Springs trip. The food is so good and authentic, the atmosphere is fun and casual, a great place to bring friends, and the drinks are phenomenal. But the staff probably made the experience for me, Murph is great and runs a solid ship, but Nikole was the best, i trusted her with my drinks and I would trust her with my life. We loved this place so much we came back twice in one day and here I am still singing...
Great vibes and awesome atmosphere. Killer tiki-themed drinks and plenty of booze to go around. Friendly staff ensures you're quickly seated on busy nights. Karaoke on Wednesdays. Food is good and the drinks are better. Not exactly cheap, but not too expensive either. Excellent value for your night out.
