Bacon-wrapped dates were intriguing and delicious if rather heavy for an appetizer. “Caesar salad” bore scant similarity to the conventional form. All spinach, no romaine. No croutons. Acidic dressing. Waiter assured us that is WAS the Caesar. Whaaat? Mediocre result. Spare ribs were stringy though rich and tasty. Fried onion rings on top of the ribs were cute and tasty. Creamed corn could have been sweeter and creamier. Passed on the expensive dessert menu ( all @16)

Dude, put food n your mouth here. Super great, home like experience, great vegetarian options; but actually would please a carnivore. Go nuts on apps, share! You can’t go wrong with anything.

The staff at Trio went completely out of their way and to make my and my father in law’s shared birthday special. The steak frites and shrimp pasta were delightful. I wish I could give a sixth star for their kindness.
