Overall it was a good experience the food and drinks where really good. The service was fast and professional, food came on-time and the place has a very elegant feeling inside perfect for date nights and family dinning. The only thing my wife and I did not like was that we ordered 2 mojito drinks and when we got the bill it showed we ordered 2 Bacardi drinks for $16 & 1 mojito drink for $14, at first I felt like I got charged for two drinks I did not order. The server explained to me that she “thinks” it's because they charge you for the type of alcohol seperate and then for the drink you want?!? Which is confusing but other than that everything was good!

Your bartender, Jason Alavizos, has some very strong anti-immigrant views, brags about on a private bartender group and has this place tag in all its post. Hope you all address this staff issue soon. Oh and he fat shamed some poor girl 🥺

My favorite cuban Restaurant in the AV. Service and food were outstanding. The entertainment was incredible. Will definitely return on jazz nights or any other entertainment night.

This was my first time here the service was great, and the food was even better! I decided to meetup here with my date (first sate). Since it was my first time there, I wasn't sure what to eat, so we split the Tour De Cuba. It had 3 different kinds of meat, beans, and rice. It was excellent! Excellent service, and great ambiance. I'd definitely recommend this place, as I will be back!

Our favorite Cuban restaurant! We've been coming here for 7 years. The owners have done a fantastic job with the addition of the patio for outdoor dining. The staff is friendly and always on top of everything. The food is authentic Cuban cuisine. We've never had a bad meal here. Highly recommend reservations!

Empanadas & potato balls ?. My steak was really good also. Will def come back. Drinks could've been a little stronger. Guava empanada were tasty. Cortadito was pretty good ☕️.

The braised oxtail is our go to order. It is only on the menu during the weekends. The plate is so big two people can share it. Make sure to get the rice and bean congri.

We dined on the patio on this visit. It was cool out however there were two gas fire pits which helped make it comfortable. The food was as good as ever! We enjoyed the croquettes de hamon and the papas rellanos for starters and they were full of flavor. We usually go for one of the Cubano sandwiches however on this visit we tried the slow cooked shredded meat, ropas vieja sandwich and it was delicious. For cocktails we tried the smoked Margarita with jalapeño. There was a perfect hint of smoke and just the right amount of heat from the jalapeño slice. The glass was rimmed with smoked salt. We will have these again on future visits. Vidal the bartender certainly knows what he is doing. Our server Adrienne was knowledgeable and friendly checking in on how we were doing as appropriate. To top a great experience off we sat and watched the moonrise while dining on the patio. Overall a delightful meal and evening. Highly recommend!

Enjoyed our dinner with our friends at Baracoa Cuban Restaurant. We made reservations and were seated immediately once we arrived. Our waitress was quick to greet us and get our drinks. The overall pace of our meal was perfect and our server was super friendly. The food was delicious and the drinks we ordered were great! The cheesecake empanadas we got for dessert were delicious. We had a great experience sitting outside on the patio and enjoyed the 2 hours we were there with our friends. Definitely recommend Baracoa Cuban Restaurant.

All I can really say is that there was too much garlic on everything. We had yuca frita, bistec empanizado, and sandwich de pollo. The fries were too garlicky and soggy but the sandwich was good, according to my friend. The bistec was fine but too much garlic and the beans were plain. We kind of liked the yuca frita but again, it was too much. Service was great and the atmosphere was perfect for a birthday, casual hangout, date night, or for families.
