Hidden gem. Not a tourist place, just great Mexican food in large portions. Service was great, and the prices reasonable. We'll definitely go there the next time we're in town!
Sergio was our bartender and he made a great Cadillac Margarita. I ordered the shredded chicken taco and my wife ordered a bean and cheese burrito. Both were fabulous! We love El Toreo. We've been eating at El Toreo West for decades now. This was THE place to eat Mexican food in the AV for years. I remember when 10th St. West was the edge of town and we would have done here with my Aunt and Uncle. Can't wait to eat here again soon!

Food was pretty good. Salsa taste like jarred. Taquitos were good but the taste was good overall. I'm going to have to eat there. There's a bar inside and I think I'll try to sit there next visit
