The yams are DELIGHTFUL! Little whole in the wall spot that does it well. Highly recommend if you’re in the area. Stopped here while in town for work and didn’t

Omg! The food was delicious...starting with the Crab Mac & Cheese balls!!! We "shared" the Louisiana Cajun bowl and a Shrimp Po Boy...wow, we're stuffed, and we have leftovers. We'll be back to try Fried Oysters and Peach Cobbler, soon.

The food was excellent the service was on point and surprisingly it was not crowded because usually the line be out the door. I recommend the Macaroni and cheese ???? balls and the Jambalaya with Shrimp and the Greens. Not saying the rest of the menu is not good this is what I Love though my Wife and I ❤️❤️❤️❤️ it.

This is my first time at this restaurant after a co-worker referred it to me. I went here after getting a set of tires from Affordable Tires, and boy, am I happy I did. I ordered the catfish with yams and potato salad. The yams are probably the best I've ever tasted in my life! The potato salad was good, though it tasted a little different, and the catfish strips were excellent. I will now be making this a restaurant I frequent on at least a monthly basis.
Moved to Palmdale 2 years ago from LA and I’ve been looking for a spot like this. ????. Good vibe, customer service and the food was ?. I’m coming back today for more. Definitely a new favorite that reminds me of home. ???????

I always order from Lee Esther's, especially now that I work in the area. The jambalaya is always amazing. Be cautious with your spice level though, I would say cap it at level 3 if you aren't a TRUE spicy food lover. 2 is also delicious! Oh, the banana pudding is GREAT!

What a gem! Have been craving a Po' Boy for months and stumbled upon Lee Esther's for lunch...best discovery I've made in quite sometime. Service was impeccable, the girls couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating! Ordered the "Mikes Po' Boy", comes with grilled chicken and shrimp and all the fixins. The Creole gravy/sauce that adorns the sandwich was ridiculous, so much flavor. It's about the closest thing you'll get to being transported from Palmdale to New Orleans. I totally intended on taking a picture for reference but it would have just made you jealous and once I started, it was hard to stop! LOL...If you are craving legit New Orleans flavor, look no further, this is your spot! I will be back very soon!

Place pretty much empty, but I guess the two women had to finish their Spanish conversation, made me wait to order, food came out 45 minutes later, sides were luke warm, food ok, but guess it depends on the cook. I left no tip, due to service and not hot food, I'm normally a very generous tipper. I'll go again in maybe 6 months, when those two women are gone.
