Overall, this place is a gem. Staff is very welcoming. Great coffee.Note that there are a lot of fleas and the tables are by no means "elegant". The seating is rather scrappy, but it is a great coffee shop.
We loved our first experience at Backyard Brew! I got an oatmeal latte with vanilla extract and a little bit of simple syrup, and it was delicious. My husband got the banana bread latte which he said was good but I liked my drink better. It was relatively busy when we went on a rainy Sunday afternoon. It was cool to see it has such a local community vibe and people wanted to be there even though it's outside and it was a little bit drizzly.
