Everything about this place is wonderful! Staff is ALWAYS smiling and friendly. Jairo helped me today and he was a star!
The seating area is open and well-lit. And the sandwiches are amazing! The sourdough is often warm (it's that fresh!). They are generous with the meat and listen to your requests. They also sell incredible salads.
Prices might seem high, but let's be honest - everything has gone up A LOT. It is in line with any quality deli and not much more than Togo's - and way better.
It may be a bit out of the way, in the center of Palo Alto Square, but it is well-worth the trip.

The sandwiches here are among the best I’ve had in my life. I had the Italian meatball sub and the chicken pesto w added bacon jam. The latter was out of this world. The cookies are great too. Finally, the service is always super friendly and fast (shoutout to Jairo in particular).

I walked into CRUST, today and went to get a sandwich and I had gotten such excellent costumer service today. Her name was Yajahira and she was so kind and helped me choose my meal. She provided me with perfect costumer service and would recommend anyone to stop by. Just for the service alone

Ordered a hot pastrami for takeout. Was able to customize toppings to hold the onions. Service time was reasonable. The meat quality of the pastrami was really good. Bread was good too, crusty but not too dry. There are jars full of free pickles and pepperoncinis at the front, plus baggies to take them to go. There are also free water cups. Pricing is on the high end, but ingredients feel premium and portions are large. I was able to share half a sandwich for lunch and it was definitely enough. I imagine the food would taste even better as a fresh dine in, I hope to be back some time.

This place is pretty delicious, if you can find it haha. This particular location of CRUST is kind of tucked away in the bottom floor of a group of nondescript office buildings. It's definitely not something you notice right away from the street. Me and some coworkers nearly drove right by.All that aside, the sandwiches here were very much worth the drive and effort to find. I will say though... the chocolate chip macadamia nut cookie was the star of the show. It was so soft and delicious. Make sure to pick one up if you stop by. You'll be glad you did.

I've been here twice now, first when they opened and again today and I have to say they are very consistent. I'd really like to give them a 4.5 and what lowers it a bit for me is the lack of bread selection. I understand that it's a sourdough deli but it would be nice to have some variations of sourdough such as an olive sourdough, etc.For the sandwiches themselves, I liked the portion size and the filling amounts match as well and have some good weight so I think they're worth the price. The veggies and cheese are all great as well and really fresh. I came back for the meatball since they're made in house so I had to come back and try them and they were worth it, great texture and size. They have 3 cookies and the quality of the cookie was really good too, not too buttery but great flavor and texture, bonus that you get a free cookie on yelp check-in as well! While I didn't eat here, they have a variation of tables both inside as well as outside, which is nice! It's pretty big inside so you don't feel cramped when you're there waiting to place your order or picking up. They have pickles and peppers on the side that you can grab yourself, which is a nice touch.

Super fast, a great sandwich, and the team has a great vibe. Try the sourdough dip sandwich special if they have it. And the macadamia, coconut, chocolate cookie.
