Came in about 30 minutes before closing and was treated with so much kindness and hospitality, to the point we were offered two free cookies for being first-timers to Crust. The sandwiches were solid; we ordered an Italian and a Reuben. The cookies were absolutely perfect, the chew was amazing.

The person of the counter was extremely helpful and very friendly. They gave me a free chocolate chip cookie for being my first time there. The sandwich was quite tasty as was the free pickle and the free cookie.

If you’re in Palo Alto Square, CRUST Sourdough Deli is a must-visit for serious sandwich lovers. We recently stopped by and were thoroughly impressed. The service was good—friendly, efficient, and welcoming from the moment we walked in.
As for the food, the sandwiches were great. We tried the hot pastrami and the hot Reuben, both served on their signature, perfectly tangy sourdough. The meats were tender and flavorful, and every sandwich comes with a crisp pickle and a hot pepper for that classic deli kick. It’s a reliable, high-quality lunch spot that never disappoints. We will definitely be heading back soon!

BUT please put the street advertising sign that's in the entrance way on Page Mill away on the weekends!
It's misleading - was thinking I could get a sandwich on a Sunday as I saw the little display thing....but store is closed on weekends! Bummer!

Delicious hot and cold sourdough sandwiches and other offerings such as salads and cookies. We got to meet the store owner and he greeted all the customers with such enthusiasm and kindness.
This location is very nice with plenty of seatings and free parking. Fast service and food came out very fast. This will be one of our go to spots.

Quick service and competent staff. We had the roast beef and pastrami sandwiches. The sourdough rolls were absolute perfection and both sandwiches were delicious. It's a bit pricey, but worth it. We actually ate one half for lunch and saved the other half for dinner.

I had the most amazing service and sandwich here today. Bread was perfect. Roast beef couldn’t be better and the added bacon jam was so good. I’ll recommend :)

Staff was friendly. Seating inside and outside.

Mat portions were definitely lacking (from my memory from previous Crust locations)...so definitely a bit more bread-y than what I had hoped for.

Parking easy to find in the plaza, but need to walk a few steps to get to the actual store front.

If i lived local this would be my go to shop. I work in the Palo Alto area as a construction worker. From the absolutely delicious sandwich to the amazing customer service I’ll be frequently coming here when in the area. I don’t know if it’s the owner or manager I didn’t catch his name welcomed me in well before they even opened so I could make it back to my job site with a good lunch. When he saw me walking away as I noticed they didn’t open tell 10 and I break at 9 he yelled through the door as he unlocked it i didn’t say we wouldn’t make you a sandwich. He made it as his staff hadn’t started yet. One of the best spicy Italian sandwiches I’ve had and the cookie was amazing.
