Kirk's SteakBurgers Palo Alto

I’ve been coming to Kirk since I was a kid in San Jose on Bascom Avenue for over 50 years and also now in Palo Alto and got a to go order online - timely picked it up myself - unfortunately the sweet potato fries were not even warm they were limp as could be not crispy at all very unappetizing. The pineapple burger was decent, but unfortunately I have to leave a not so good review because when I called to tell the guy about it he just said thank you for telling me absolutely no customer service like We’ll make it better give you credit for next time Not sure if I’ll be back

So wonderful to finally find a restaurant with a full bar that is open for lunch in Palo Alto. Kirk's has a nice relaxed vibe. Awesome big ol' long bar to sit at. Plenty of screens if that's your thing. But also huge windows so it still feels open and airy. The bartenders are so very nice and professional. Wonderful selection of beers on tap and the burgers are delicious. If you're not from the area but are in the area and are thinking, where can I grab a burger and a beer - then look no further. Thank you Kirk's for giving me a little respite to feel human again. If I ever come back, I'll definitely stop by. Cheers!

We’ve eaten here 2 or 3 times a month since February. The food is consistently very good. Beer and wine prices seem quite reasonable.

You order at a counter and get your drink. When your food is ready, they bring it to your table. Maybe it’s 5 minutes to get a burger and fries.

Perhaps the best part is that fries are ALWAYS hot! I can’t abide lukewarm fries you get in some fast casual places.

Ordered their burger. Nothing special. $16 burger is a bit overpriced. Grilled too long, so I had to continually bite off the burnt parts. ANNOYING.

I live close by so I wanted things to work out, but I am definitely NOT returning anytime soon!

You guys should keep your business doors locked until your open. I accidentally walked in at 10:55 and got the 👢. i didnt feel welcome enough to come in an interuplt all the cooks breakfast and server sitting down 🤦‍♂️. meanwhile hungry while yall eat breakfast in my face👎. Your steakburgers are 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥, but not service or hospitality at this location. Dam shame my other spot closed near Stanford your burgers better than gotts. My first and last time at this location.

Tuff steak in salad, UN- EATABLE! Screwed up the order, bad burgers in general! $16 burger w/ NO FRIES!!! &... Crap way to order, talking to a clerk over a counter & an ipad ! AHhh!
like placing a bet at a racetrack! I leave 5 stars cuz the 1 or 2 star goes UNSEEN. It's a true 1 star review!

We got a BLT and Philly. They were ok. But the bacon had been cooked a while before making the sandwich. It was tough, and not crispy at all. The onions and peppers on the Philly were practically tasteless. We had take out so I'm cutting some slack for that, but we only had to drive 5 mins to the hotel. It shouldn't have been so tough and bland. Service was fast and friendly.

Food nice presentation, but quite bland burgers., no real flavor, obviously the meat had been previously frozen, onion rings were terrific
