Kirk's SteakBurgers Palo Alto

We got a BLT and Philly. They were ok. But the bacon had been cooked a while before making the sandwich. It was tough, and not crispy at all. The onions and peppers on the Philly were practically tasteless. We had take out so I'm cutting some slack for that, but we only had to drive 5 mins to the hotel. It shouldn't have been so tough and bland. Service was fast and friendly.

Great Burgers and Fries!

I first enjoyed Kirk's when I was in graduate school in the 1980's. It's every bit as good now as then. This time, I had the pineapple bacon burger - my favorite. Every bit as good as ever. New for me was the chocolate shake - wonderful.

Inside seating is noisy, but there is sufficient outside seating.

My husband and I shared a delightful meal at Kirk's with our fur baby Bella. We were warmly greeted by Jean Paul and appreciated the menu options for our furry companion, who enjoyed the beef patty. The food was scrumptious, and the ambiance was spotless and inviting. Our experience was exceptional, thanks to Jean Paul's warm service, despite his recent foot injury. He made sure we had everything we needed and even prepared a mouthwatering cookies & cream milkshake. We enjoyed our meals and shared chips with queso (super yummy!). We're excited to come back! ✨

11/14/2024- My husband and I returned to Kirk's, where we savored a slice of pepperoni pizza and a slice of margherita, accompanied by mozzarella sticks, a Philly cheesesteak burger, and a grilled chicken salad. The cuisine was exceptional, and the ambiance was equally impressive. We observed Jean Paul continuing to work diligently despite his injured foot. Keep up the great work!! We’ll be back!

We were fans of the old location. It was usually kickback and relaxed, and then we'd go nextdoor to shop for books. The new location is much larger and there are more menu offerings (though their screen wasn't illuminated to where we could make anything out). It seems like it would make a fun group hangout if you can find parking. As someone with sensory issues, it's a LOT louder for sure. For our first time in the Middlefield location, it felt like a treasure hunt, following signs that lead us around the building and once in the building to the back to order.

As for the food, for advertising that burgers are cooked medium unless specified, both burgers we ordered (not specifying doneness) were burnt, including the bun. The garlic fries were nice and warm though, and the milkshake had a fun straw. The food was delivered faster than the old location.

Fabulous meal at Kirk’s! First time here at the new location. Food lived up to all expectations from memories from years back at the California Ave location. Special shout out to Jean Paul for his amazing customer service and friendly conversation, even coming around checking on everyone on his crutches!

Sorry but the new Kirk’s on middle field needs work: always a line at the one person at the counter that has gone slow the 3 times I’ve been there, not even playing the sound for the World Series, no one to speak to, do we bus tables? No one to ask. Going to have to do serious work if it’s going to stay there
