Seabass Curry was the BEST. The butter chicken was also very tasty.

Superb food, butter chicken, soups and samosas highly recommended. They told us the meat is halal as well

The food was excellent. The service was capable and reasonably friendly. The atmosphere was incredible, with music that was pleasant yet not intrusive, and the decor (art, really) was gorgeous.

In addition to the options listed below, the different members of our dining party enjoyed the Butter Chicken, Lamb Rogan Josh, and Lamb Malabar.

Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous! Everything I have eaten here is absolutely amazing. There are many menu items and I appreciated their vegetarian options. I wish the restaurant was closer and it is absolutely worth the drive. I do recommend stopping in and trying anything - I have yet to receive a mediocre dish here. Highly recommended. Park in the parking ramp on the next block and walk over, super easy. Seriously, check them out!

📌Free city parking, Lot 5 enters from Cambridge Ave at New Mayfield Lane. Walk to California Ave through Mimosa Ln.

👍Samosa (4pcs)
Crispy, not greasy, along with 3 condiments : Mint cilantro chutney, Tamarind chutney, and a deliciously nice surprise : mildly spicy Mango chutney!

👍Malai Kofta
Must be one of the best in the 415/650/408 area. You'll come back for more!

👍Shrimp Vindaloo
Huge prawns!

🏆Very cozy and pretty romantic ambiance. Super friendly servers.

✨️Both the better tastes and bigger portions make this lovely Indian restaurant a hidden gem for good value comparing to others.

Food is fine. They charge 3% credit card fee. I used visa. Besides, these 3% credit card fee is also charged tax on it. Original tax was $7.4.
They did not mention any of it when checking out.

Just had dinner at Namaste. We are so impressed with their food! Very sophisticated tastes and flavors. We had three dishes and every one was absolutely delightful. Strongly recommend this restaurant. The service was also first class. Thank you Namaste, we will definitely be back!

So we had dal makhani, shahi paneer and garlic naan. It was served with rice.
The best part honestly was the service though. Have not seen such a busy restaurant with such good service.
Garlic naan was so nice. Lovely.
Rice was nice too.
The gravies were way too spicy for us but don't blame them for it though haha.
Specially recommend the dal makhani

Today I ordered chicken tikka masala Tali plate from namasti and zareen who is just down the street and I wanted to kind of compare them side by side.

They're both different.

Namaste has more options that they present ( comes with rice and naan and desert), but it is about $5 more expensive. The meat on zareens is a little bit more smoky for the chicken tikka masala and has a little more meat as well. Namaste is a little bit more of the sweet side because of the tomato paste. Zareens gives a large naan.

Zareens food was ready in less than minutes where Namaste took 15 minutes.
