Obviously a high-end Mexican cuisine: my kids are used to taqueria style so my son wanted a 'regular' taco not a 'super' and didn't really have a way to explain -- so his mom ate his super and and his sister ordered a "taco, just corn tortilla shell and meat, nothing else..." -- and she sushed me when I tried to say to the waiter, she means a 'regular ta... '
Good times. Ordered another tequila -- pretty good selection.

This gem is alongside many other restaurants, but you've got to stop in! Family recipes, sauces that are all flavor, and beautifully balanced sides await! I highly recommend the enchiladas El Sol. The margaritas are delish, but you can also try tequila flights or sangria. Nothing but homemade wonderfulness here.
Vegetarian options: The rice and beans are safe! The menu allows lots of options.
Kid-friendliness: I'm sitting by a family now. The waitstaff are attentive to the child and he is entertained by the outdoor seating and view.
Wheelchair accessibility: Inside and out are wheelchair and walker accessible.
This is a great Mexican place to dine on California Street. With that street closed for Al fresco dining, there are plenty of parking spots available in the adjacent streets with a free parking garage as well. I went there with my family on a Thursday evening for dinner. The place was relatively full and it was easy to get a table. We got ourselves Chicken Chalupas, Enchiladas Al Chipotle with chicken and Camarones a la diabla. The delivery was quite fast with the chalupas arriving within 10 minutes. There were 3 chalupas there and each tasted unique in its own flavor. The enchiladas were usual as I would expect them to be with chipotle sauce. The highlight of the dinner was the Shrimp dish with quite a kick of spicyness. For people with less interest in spicy food, this dish might not be for you. However, I liked it a lot and tasted quite unlike anything I have tried in Mexican cuisine. Overall, this place is a must try and we had great experience dining here.

While every 5th restaurant in CA serves Mexican food, this one stands out in top 3 for me for authentic Mexican food, excellent salsa, best black beans ever and Coke in Mexican bottle (better than all other Coke that you get in US)!! Wonderful service and interior decor.. I don't remember overeating at any other resturant before.. will keep going again and again..
Vegetarian options: They confirmed that their beans and rice are not cooked in chicken broth or lard. Overall not many, but, few good veg options are available. Especially Inchiladas Ranchero is excellent..
