Clean, fast, friendly, unbelievable price for organic tofu soup in Palo Alto area.

I'm not the biggest fan of Korean cuisine, but I had a good experience at SGD I ordered the Seafood Soft Tofu Soup, which was warming & filling. My friends enjoyed their orders too, including the Bulgogi Pork and Beef Dolsot.

The vibes are cozy but maybe a bit too tight. The service seems a little frenetic - the food doesn't take long to arrive, but it's tricky to get a hold of a waiter.

If you're a fan of or interested in Korean food, I'd check SGD out at least once.

Service was a bit below par. Slow in menus. Didn't deliver a glass for water. Banchan slow and grudging refills. Last call 40 minutes before closing time. Food is above average

a little pricy but the food quality is great! serving food was fast, so even though a long queue, still got food in time.

My go-to local spot for delicious Korean food ever since high school! I’ve tried almost all their main dishes from bibimbap to soondubu to naengmyeon, and they are all absolutely scrumptious! Very generous portions as well, though prices have increased over the years. The banchan is also great and they do refill them upon request without extra charge.

Staple korean food on a cold night. They didn't disappoint. Better than most if not all of the Socal places I've tried. Their seafood soondubu is delicious.

Went here with some friends, got the hot assorted tofu stew and it was delicious. The side dishes were good and the servers were very attentive, even when we sat outside. They moved the heater closer to make sure we weren’t too cold. 10/10 would go again

Best tofu house ever!

Super busy for lunch. The Tofu soup really is the best. Spicy pork was decent.
They give decent amount in banchan

Delicious food for sure! The bimbibop, soups, meats and sides are all so yummy and you’ll crave often. People are friendly too which is a plus. Because we have a little guy with us that sometimes (heck most times) drops food on the floor from eating and thank goodness the people who work here are so nice and understanding!!

We love tofu house!

Just wish they’d stop highering their prices. $19.95 for a small tofu/mushroom soup is too much, even when it tastes so good! Like in 2019 their tofu soup was like $11, which makes sense… hence the 4-stars. Cause of the prices were reasonable then they’d definitely be 5-stars!

The service was great. The short ribs were seasoned well. The bulgogi was alright and had some flavor to it, but the beef was a little dry and hard for my taste.
