Ice cream was amazing as usual. In and out within 5 minutes at 10pm on a Saturday. Fast and convenient. Would definitely visit again.

My boyfriend and I visited Somi Somi on July 6, at 5:15 PM and attempted to order the Cookies & Cream flavor. While placing our order, the staff member informed us that Cookies & Cream was unavailable. We selected an alternative flavor, but shortly after, we were told that the second choice, Dalgona, was also out of stock. Although disappointed, we chose a third flavor instead.
We ordered three taiyaki cones upside down, all with extra Nutella filling. However, only one of them (my boyfriend’s) was prepared correctly with the extra filling. The other two did not have the requested extra Nutella, which was quite disappointing. The inconsistency in service and lack of communication from the server were frustrating, and we felt let down by the experience.

Matcha soft serve in a cup, with or without the custard filled fish waffle, is excellent. We tried matcha and peach as well (1/2 and 1/2) and admit the second flavor was too sweet. So stick with the green tea classic!

Walked over for a treat after lunch at a nearby cafe. And was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. I got the chocolate with Nutella. So good. Lines were much shorter than other ice cream spots in the area and it was a nice walk to get there.

Had to go to this place because the reviews made the ice cream look bomb. It is. But not as bomb as the customer service provided by Kim. She made my daughter and i's experience wonderful which was cool cuz we drove from Santa Cruz. Happy to go again. U ROK KIM

Overhyped. The taiyaki itself is good (the doughy outside) but the soft serve is very disappointing and mild. It brings the whole dessert down. Do not recommend. If you’re looking for ice cream, go to the other great ice cream places in downtown PA- don’t be fooled by a fun fish shape.
I have admittedly not tried the taiyaki filled with bean paste or custard, which might be better. But the big attraction at this place is the ice cream-filled taiyaki so I’m commenting on that.
