The food is described as "absolutely gorgeous" and "yummy" with a perfect balance of taste, presentation, and healthiness. The dim sum is outstanding, freshly made to order, not mass produced, which makes for an excellent dining experience. Standout dim sum items include the baked BBQ pork buns, which are well-flavored with lean meat in a fresh baked, delicate bun, and the XLB, which is exceptional with thin skin that packs a bundle of flavor. The stir-fried beef he fen has just the right amount of flavor with quality beef that's tender. The chang fen delivers an authentic mouth feel. Customers also loved the 2 gao dishes, both with seafood & greens, with the shrimp & chives gao being fabulous and perfectly flavored. The service is amazingly attentive every time, and the ambiance is described as making your "eyes roll." The decoration is nice and makes customers feel dining in an upscale Chinese restaurant. Tai Pan is considered a "supreme place" that is worth visiting again.
