This was our first time at Taverna. The food was excellent. We had a salad for starters. My husband had the whole fish with a side if greens. I ordered the lamb chops. We had Greek coffee and shared a baklava. The two servers who helped us were both gracious, friendly, and patient. The place was bright and orderly. The bathroom was well-stocked, clean and uncluttered. I'm surprised they're not busier. But, many it's a lazy Sunday morning for people living nearby....
This is an outstanding restaurant with exquisite Greek food, magnificently prepared and served, and with amazingly gracious service. A bit noisy, but that's probably because lots of people also think the same! Top.
It doesn't get any better than this. The ambience, the food, the servers, the selection of both food and wine can't be beat. Everything we ate from moussaka our salad calamari, and the pistachio ice cream were over the top. Plus they had a fabulous selection of California and Greek wine. Our servers were so much fun. The evening was over the top. I can't wait to return.
