The Cheesecake Factory

Food was good. While service is usually good, this time we went through 3 different shifts of staff (each covering for someone during break) during our stay which was about an hour. We had to repeat our small asks such as bread. We ordered mojitos - 2 with no ice and one with ice. Without ice came in smaller glasses and no mint. The drink with the ice was properly made. The drinks took a long time to come as well. They were obviously short staffed that day.

I am a big fan of the Cheesecake Factory, in this store they deliver the same food quality than in most and mid range prices. If you have never tried it, make yourself a favour and order the white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake, it's life changing. The service is friendly but very slow. There is always a wait and once you get a table you have to beg for attention, specially for dinner. I had (in more than one occasion) to go straight to the check out the pay so that I could leave.

This location did not have the original cheesecake available in the bakery takeout area because they ran out of the whipped cream topping. How does that happen? The original cheesecake is their signature item. It was fortunate that Paris Baguette was next door so we were able to find something else for my friend's birthday party.

The waiting staff is usually very nice and efficient. Last time I was there however, I was told after a 20 minute wait for our food that they are out of veggie burgers. Everyone else had been served their food by now. So I picked a different item and they got it to me within 10 minutes. Nothing beyond an apology. No compensation in any way. The staff was still nice and efficient but this kind of info should not be relayed 20 mins later after everyone else in the party has been served. Dropping 1 star because of that. Also it was a one time thing. In general the food is good, so are the desserts and the servings are pretty decent too.

The service is perfect and the food is delicious. I didn't expect such big and tasty portions. The cheesecake are also very good. The little drawback is the waiting time. I felt like my group of friends and I waited too long for our plates to be served. Maybe because we were 8 people... Anyway, I definitely recommend this restaurant!
