Great experience at this steak restaurant! The service was excellent from start to finish—friendly, attentive, and professional. The food was amazing, especially the steaks, which were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The establishment itself is very well kept, clean, and comfortable, adding to the overall dining experience. I would definitely come back again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great steak dinner.

Went here for a fancy dinner. Our server Maria was nice and we had a decent conversation with. There is free cotton candy at the end, so note that. The croissant was nice and buttery, the clam chowder was unique, the raw dishes were nice and tasty (especially shots) and the fries were decent. Looks different when you go inside, but this place is a bit expensive, so going again will not be likely.

Visiting family in CA. We had a fantastic dinner! She had the grilled lobster which was delicious, and the wild mushrooms were amazing. I had the Miso Black Cod, which was melt-in-your-mouth fantastic, and the lobster soboro was a revelation. Service and staff were delightful!

Visited for an early birthday celebration and the service and attention to detail completely blew me away! We ordered the clam chowder, shrimp toast skewers, seared scallops, and black cod. They start you off with an amuse bouche, 3 types of bread (including a delicious croissant), and because we were celebrating my birthday, a complimentary glass of sparkling wine. Presentation of the food was exquisite, and everything was delicious! Our favorite was the shrimp skewer, and I really enjoyed the orange sauce that came with my dish. For dessert, they brought out a complimentary mini strawberry tart and vanilla ice cream with a candle in addition to a blue cotton candy swirl. Throughout the night, the waitstaff were continuously checking in to make sure we liked the food and were enjoying ourselves. So much care was put into our dining experience, and I'd highly recommend for celebrating a special occasion!

This is a high-end restaurant with delicious food and top-notch service. We enjoyed the two salmon dinners and both were excellent. The cheesecake dessert was a creative spin on cheesecake and also fantastic.

This was hands down the best dining experience I’ve ever had in my life, from start to finish. We were seated immediately upon arrival right on time for our reservation, and the service never missed a beat from that moment on.

We were promptly offered water and asked about drinks, and I genuinely don’t think our glasses were ever empty, refills just appeared before we even had to think about asking. Every single dish that came out was absolutely delicious, not one miss.

What really stood out was the attention to detail. At the beginning of dinner, my husband mentioned he doesn’t drink alcohol. Later, when the table was offered champagne to celebrate his mom’s birthday, the waiter remembered and brought him a non-alcoholic drink instead without us having to say a word. That level of attentiveness is rare and so appreciated.

They also surprised us with a complimentary dessert for the birthday, along with sushi for the table, which was such a thoughtful touch. Every dish was carefully explained when served, including how it’s best enjoyed, which made the experience feel even more elevated.

Every single staff member we interacted with was warm, courteous, and genuinely welcoming. The entire evening felt seamless, thoughtful, and special.

Honestly, I have nothing negative to say. Everything was perfect. This is the gold standard of what fine dining and exceptional service should look like. We will absolutely be back.

I love the food here and have had many wonderful experiences dining here for the past 15 years. This review is only for the latest experience I've had.

The server(s) were unprofessional. He repeatedly rushed us to finish our appetizers because he said he needed to serve the main dishes, took our plates without asking us while they were still in use or unfinished, reached over and under the guests to clear the table while the guests were serving themselves food, spilled drinks on the table while refilling cups and spilled water into the entrees, tossed the silverware onto the tray while bussing instead of placing them down nicely (and grabbing them by the eating end, which is just strange), got way too close while setting the table that I could feel his breathe down my neck (which was gross). And once he took our credit card, his first response was to ask us how much tip would we'd like to give. Standard procedure, even at casual restaurants, is to charge the card and say thank you, not ask how much tip we are going to give to you. This attitude gives the impression that Alexander's is more focused on the service charge than customer service.

Overall, unrefined and callous service, not on par with Alexander's typical standards. Unbefitting of a restaurant of this caliber. The service that we received made my guests uncomfortable and embarrassed.

Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend Alexander's until these issues with the service are addressed.

Had a nice dinner. With Lumpur and arancini balls as appetizers . Their house sale, Salmon which came with a side of mashed potatoes and string beans. The salmon was cooked perfectly slightly crispy. The chocolate mousse desert was rich and creamy and delicious with biscuit base and a crunchy chocolate topping

New York strip with Taiwanese black pepper and sancho pepper sauce was refreshingly different and perfectly prepared. I went out of my way to try it and was glad to have done so.
