Just the best. Everything about this place. The falafel, the bowls (French fries base!), and the people! Aces across the board!

This is my new favorite Mediterranean restaurant in South Bay. It's more of a casual, grab and go place but there are a few tables inside. Food here is incredible and the portions are huge. I loved how many options they have for toppings. I usually get the chicken shawarma which was so delicious and packed with flavor but their falafel is really good too - they make it upon ordering so it arrives extra crispy and fresh. Staff here is so nice as well; would absolutely recommend this place.

Food is so good. And the portion is too big to finish it.Love this place, and will be back there soon again next week.

Sad to see them bump prices to $18 a bowl. That’s too much. I don’t think it’s worth what’s offered. And I’ll likely reduce my visits or stop altogether now.

The ingredients are very fresh. The falafel and the veggies are very flavorful. The meat (chicken shawarma, chicken kabob and especially lamb shawarma) is bland - A little more flavor would make this my favorite restaurant.

Such a great deal for delicious fresh food. I was able to split a bowl for dinner the servings were so large. The owners were also very friendly. This place is a no brainer. I hope to be back often.

I stuck gold when I found this spot!I was at the VA hospital with my husband for a procedure. And for the most part, hospital food isn't all that appetizing. I need something to lift my sport and fill my belly. Not all that far from the VA, I made it to Zadna Bowl. Parking kinda sucks in that area if you're there during the lunchtime rush. Although I did find a paid parking lot around the corner from the restaurant. If I had blinked, I would have missed the location. Lucky for me, maps! The aroma of the delicious food actually made me slow down, I knew I was near. I decided to get a salad, instead of my usual falafel sandwich I get at Medí spots. Since it was a build it yourself kinda options, I asked the gentleman to make it as if he was eating it. Dealers choice! I don't think there was an item he didn't add to my mountain of savoring bites. Boom! Freaking amazing. I devoured my salad as I sat in my car. I'm certain people were watching me dig in. It was soooo good. This is officially my new grub spot when I'm in Palo Alto/Stanford area.

Wow, zadna is amazing! Everything was super fresh, and the rice was soft which is more I can say for other Mediterranean bowl spots. Came here for lunch with my coworkers and got the protein mix bowl. We waited 5 min for fresh falafel to come out and it was worth it. The garlic sauce is flavorful, and the lamb was tender. I could probably eat here twice a week. Don't forget to get the pita!

Takeout order:8.5/10 Lamb Shawarma Bowl $17 - Solid meal just on the pricy side so not as much value. Lamb was a bit dry and needed a bit more marinade but everything else was great. Portions of meat was perfect. Half pita bread + hummus, veggies, and lamb you could also make a mini wrap and still have enough meat leftover to go with the rice. Portions for veggies however were super little! You get about a tablespoon of hummus, feta, corn, chickpeas, onions, and 2 half pieces of artichoke. Had to bump down rating because of that.

The nice family at Zadna Bowl work hard to make sure you have a great meal. The bowls are made fresh with the falafel being some of the best I've had. All the veggies, sauces and toppings are super fresh and tasty. The bowls can easily make two meals and the pita bread is most, chewy and delicious. We also had a pistachio pastry for desert which was crispy, nutty and not too sweet. Definitely a "do again"

Second visit here in a few weeks. The one thing that was consistent for both visits was that I was told by the bowl assembler that "there is a limit" when I asked for more pickles or olives. I typically only get a small handful of toppings, they shouldn't quibble about adding a few more pickles or whatever. I probably saved them money since I didn't go for all the toppings, lol. Their attitude is kinda a turn-off for me, so I would considering that in the future when deciding to return.
