“I love it at LGI! The owner is just awesome and gives off great vibes. You can get healthy shakes, teas and protein cookies and take it to go or chill and hang out for a while. There is a Photo Booth area, a back table if you wanna come in and get some work done in a relaxing environment AND a kiddy table and toys for the little ones! I just love it :)”

“Such a fun place, so cozy. Great service and everyone is having a good time. Pool table room is awesome. Everyone is having fun at the bar and there is also lounge areas where you can sit and have a nice conversation with your group. A music box is also available if you want to play a song. Bathrooms are immaculate which is rare. I love this place!

“Shasta County has a few examples of multi genre food restraunts. They're kind of the precursor to the whole fusion thing. Papi's offers Mexican, American and Chinese food and honestly does a good job at all three. Great place to get food for a big group. They have a drive through and you can order inside which is nice when you have a big vehicle that won't fit through the driveway. Gets busy when the high school is out. I have never eaten anything there that I didn't like and they are reasonably priced and you definitely a good value for what you pay .

Kid-friendliness: Small place but always friendly and welcoming. They have a variety of food so if you have a kid that wants a burrito, another that wants a hambuger and you want chicken teriyaki than this is the place for you. All of the different options are definitely good and makes for an easy one stop shop for a family.”

We celebrated my birthday there, and it was truly one of the best experiences we’ve ever had dining out as a family. We have a loved one with a severe, life-threatening dairy allergy one that has previously resulted in medically induced comas so eating out is something we almost never do. But from the moment we arrived, the staff and managers went above and beyond to ensure his safety and comfort. They took every precaution imaginable using fresh gloves, preventing any cross-contamination, bringing his meal out first, and even having the manager personally come to our table to talk through his allergy and confirm every step taken. The care, professionalism, and compassion they showed meant the world to us.”

“So never been here, and again the kid picked this place out. I had the chicken sandwich with their slaw and it was amazing! The kid had a chicken bowl and he really liked it. It was pretty fast and although the parking lot seemed almost deserted, there was plenty of free parking, even for several buses! Lee was very sweet and nice and her co-worker was also super helpful, but I forgot her name. I found out their menu comes from Hawaii, and 2 Asian styles of food. For the price it was quite excellent. A little on the plain side for atmosphere, but if you sat in some of the alcoves they designed into the lay out, (see photos) it would probably feel more cozy. I would definitely come here again. I did talk to a customer who says she comes quite often because the one in Palo Cedro closed and she goes here when she can!”

From the fajitas to the taco salad, meat burrito and the torta, everything was correctly made and delicious. Thank you!”

“Tried Dave’s hot chicken for the first time. I was really impressed. It’s different than anything else really flavorful. It’s also on the pricier side. meal does not come with a drink so be prepared to Pay closer to $20 for a meal and a drink”

“I’m giving 4 stars even though more went wrong than went right. I hope this feedback can help this place succeed because it has potential.
Starting off, my partner and I both ordered a Coke, but the server came back to the table, explaining it was too “watery”. We were given Sprite instead.
My partner ordered the shrimp po boy, but was given the catfish po boy.
I ordered the catfish and was asked if I wanted ranch dressing with it. I asked for tartar sauce and was told they don’t have tartar sauce. They served it with a remoulade. As a Southern transplant, I love a good remoulade, but that does not go with catfish 🫤.
The food came out pretty quickly, but I was disappointed there was only one piece of catfish. In the South, you’d get 2 (minimum) or 3-4 pieces of fish.
I didn’t want a meal of mostly fries, so I left hungry (personally, would love to see a side of mac+cheese or a side salad option).
Our meal was over $65 for two people and we only got 1/4 of what we ordered. As we ate, our drinks were never refilled and the server never checked on our table again because he seemed to be the only one working.
Also worth noting - we sat in the back and the restrooms smelled awful!! I am not advocating for the restaurant to mask the smell with a bunch of air fresheners, but they desperately need to pour some bleach or vinegar down the floor drains to eliminate the mildew.
Not a great first impression, but I’d give it another chance because I am always looking for good Southern food in Northern California.”

“Went there to get a to go order, we got there before they opened the owner was so kind he let us in and took our order even though we were 30 min early . Offered us a free sushi plate it was delicious. We took our order home and the tempura veggies were just fantastic, the chicken and beef was amazing. The sushi roll was amazing as well. Definitely recommend this restaurant. And will be going back again.”
