My Father moved our family from England in 1976 and discovered this place. It was always a family treat growing up. I came to the Valley last week and had to go. Still fantastic. If I lived in the area, I’d need elastic waisted pants and would have diabetes. Sooooo good!!

4 1/2 stars. I've been coming here for 45 years (it hasn't changed!). For what Californians would consider Texas stye BBQ, this place is overall my preference. This is not Southern style (corn bread, collard greens, etc.) The meat is sweet. And juicy. If you like neat, dry, BBQ, this is NOT the place for you. The brisket here is my favorite and beats the brisket at any Jewish deli. The beef ribs are legendary. When I was a teenager I would order the three way...
