Original Khin Dang Thai is just one of many very good Thai eateries in the valley. We tried it for the first time and came away fans of the diverse menu, warm service and delicious food.

The place was half full on a Saturday afternoon with families and couples happily eating.

It took us a long time to go through their good sized menu which had some really tantalizing options, like larb, spicy fried catfish, and a variety of noodle soups. Being just two of us, we settled on two of our usuals: Pad Thai (the more expensive special one as opposed to the standard one on the menu) and green curry chicken, plus steamed rice. Both were great but the Pad Thai was truly special, with little chunks of fried tofu, chicken and shrimp and plentiful bean sprouts. We really enjoyed the Thai chili vinegar condiment, which is served on a little tray along with chili flakes, chili paste, and green chilis in vinegar.

The service was really kind and attentive. We look forward to returning to try some more items very soon!

Good food, bad service.......

BEWARE !!! Horrible customer service. I ordered a combo pineapple fried rice and a Thai tea boba to go. $31!!! the server was mad that I left no tip. I have never tried this place and was ordering to go just for myself. She didn't give me the red sauce I asked when she saw that I didn't leave a tip. When I saw the total i thought it was more than enough for what I had ordered $31 for 2 items. never coming back !!!!

This is what you need to know. When people FROM THAILAND arrive at LAX they go to the Original Khun Dang. Service is friendly, food is fresh, made quick and tastes great. I recommend the pineapple curry, mango sticky rice, boat noodles, beef salad and of course the pork jerky (or beef) which you need to squeeze 5 limes over. Foods made by a grandma in the kitchen what else you need to know?
