The manager and server went over and beyond to make my mother-in-law's 75th birthday, brunch so special. The food & drinks were delicious and service was great! We'll be back soon.

Brunch menu limited and unchanging. Not enough vegetarian options. Service was slow. Had to ask hostess to get our server for the bill. Tap water was in drinking glasses that smelled like a fish tank. Garlic fries were delicious.

Late Easter lunch outside on the covered patio. Food was delicious and never felt rushed to order or leave which often happens on a holiday at other restaurants. Highly recommend. Only downside was service was slow but we were in no rush.

The short rib tacos could have been hotter. We had a 9am reservation so the kitchen couldn't have been backed up yet. Also my husband's steak was cooked inconsistently and his eggs were a bit underdone (runny whites). Service was great.

This was my first time at the Raymond. I subtracted 1 star for service. It wasn't bad, just could be polished up a tad. Plates were left on the table between courses necessitating the server to clear them. The food was very good. It's not fine dining—does not pretend to be so—it's more akin to the casera vibe. It's as if you were eating at a friend's home, albeit a friend that really knows how to cook. We sampled the chicken and the pork chop. The chicken was outstanding. As we all know, chicken is a challenging protein to cook perfectly. And it was. It arrived hot and juicy and expertly seasoned. My comment on the pork is only representing my own flavor profile; I found it to be needing a bit more pan sauce. And, for me, the Dijon mustard came on a bit too strong and overwhelmed the delicacy of the subtle pork flavor. We really enjoyed the ambience. Both outside and inside were a comfortable environment to enjoy a nice, un rushed meal. We will return.

My husband and I went here for Valentines Day. They had a pre fixed menu. While the price was on the higher side per person it was so worth every penny. The service is amazing the food is fantastic and the ambiance is romantic, very traditional pasadena and just fun. You can sit indoors or outdoors. If you sit outdoors they have outdoor heaters so you don't have to worry about getting cold and umbrellas if it is too hot. This place also features an amazing brunch on the weekend so it is worth checking out. Again the food is always really good. This place has been a local favorite in Pasadena for a very long time. The parking is a little strange so prepare to use their valet service and pay for it but other than that the place is amazing and great for date night.

My dear friends were married at this truly picturesque venue. The food was exquisite, the mood was warm and welcoming, and the entire staff worked tirelessly to ensure the wedding went smoothly from set up to tear down. The Raymond's Events Coordinator, Claudia, in particular, went above and beyond, keeping us updated on the status of specific requests and seamlessly transitioning the space from a ceremony setting to a beautifully arrayed dining setting in no time at all. Claudia's attentiveness, care, and expertise truly made this a day for the bride and groom to be celebrated without having to be concerned about a single thing. I cannot thank Claudia and the entire Events Staff enough for making the couple's special day a magical and stress free experience they will remember forever.

My friends and I come a least once a month. The food was wonderful. I had the Little Gem salad was savory with radishes, tomatoes, crispy lettuce, and a creamy dressing. My chicken dish was juicy and came with mashed potatoes, and cooked carrots. The food was fantastic. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's great when the waitress,Alex, remembers how you like your Margaritas. I always have a wonderful dining experience. My friends enjoyed themselves, also.

The food was amazing. We had the chicken and the scallops and the ahi tuna starter. Everything tasted wonderful and the presentation was beautiful. The inside is so warm and cozy but we chose to sit outside on the patio. The fireplace was going as well as the fairy lights - it's such a sweet space. Our servers were super friendly and attentive. We love The Raymond and will definitely be back!!

Excellent meal. Food was delicious!. Service was fabulous (thank you. Clifton), attentive yet not a distraction or too much. The place is so lovely. Our table was in the corner and it was very intimate for a "date" night with my husband. There is a decent wine list and some wonderful cocktails. We will be coming back soon as we want to try more of the delicious menu items.

We have not been back to Raymond for a long time. So we decided to try it again for date night. The service was great. The food was also tasty. There's an after dinner drink that has 40 botanicals in it. It was delicious.

We came here on Sunday brunch sitting on the outdoor patio. The food was delicious, service was good and the atmosphere was nice. I tried happy hour before, it was a great place to hangout with friends.Parking: It's hard to find street parking. The valet parking is $8.

Short ribs were very good, tender and a good amount of food on the plate. The Poke appetizer also very good. We BYO'd a 20 year old wine and the waiter was challenged by the cork and cracked it before he could pull it out. Most likely user error, would have been nice if they waived the corkage fee. Other than that, we had good service and a wonderful evening.

I love this restaurant especially the patio area! I hosted my son's birthday here and everyone loved it! Food is amazing, ambiance is great, and the employees are the BEST, especially Claudia, the Event Manager! I would highly recommend for dining in and hosting events!

Classy, intimate restaurant built inside a craftsman home. Had brunch with friends. The cozy atmosphere was perfect for our group to chat and share details without fearing we'd be overheard. The service was good. Admittedly, I had to ask for cream to go with my coffee three times and wait 20 minutes for it, but it was fine I already had my food and Old Fashioned so I was fine. I had the crabcake with pouched egg on bed of arugula. The crabcake was flavorful and cooked crispy on the outside like I asked. It was very satisfying. Our group also shared the cinnamon roll and pancakes. Have to say, the cinnamon roll wasn't really worth the calories. It was all crispy, no gooey middle. At least not for ours. It was more like a croissant cooked like a cinnamon roll with great icing. I love croissants. But that's not what I was expecting. The pancakes were EXCELLENT ! We all were impressed with them. All in all we enjoyed this restaurant and recommend it if you don't need outdoor sunny patio seating. They don't have much of that.
