Bubble Puff & Tea Cafe

We loved stopping in after an afternoon in the gardens nearby. Had a refreshing boba on a hot day. You can even choose the level of sweetness and ice! They had a combo where you get a sandwich and a basic tea for free! Good pricing and great quality. We will be back!

Wifi doesn't work and the place is dirty on the inside.

I had the Hokkaido milk tea with pudding and it was good.

Absolutely delicious. The house milk tea is perfectly made with a nice sweet flavor and excellently made boba. This place is my new boba go to!

One of the best dessert places that also has some food options. The bubble puffs are so delicious and not overly sweet. The portions are big so it is good for sharing. The ice cream was also very good. The interior is quite big and clean, and great for studying or chilling. Staff are very nice and friendly.

If I could, I would probably say more like 3.5 stars, not a bad score, they're rounding up. The quality of the tea was fine. I didn't find this place to be special but we only ordered the taro milk tea and a black milk tea. Perhaps their desserts are better? But the space is great because there's plenty of room to do some work or socialize. The restroom wasn't great but I think they were just really busy. Not sure I would make a second trip. Ordering is only done at a kiosk and when I needed to make a special adjustment, I need to get the attention of someone because it wasn't a menu option. Drinks are solid but just a little above average.

My go-to Boba Tea spot! I love the Fruit Teas, Lattes, and Specialty Drinks. Super friendly staff they let me pick up tea with my dog. Love the drinks so much that they don’t last very long I always chug it?! Check this place out!

The drinks there are pretty expensive ($7) for a cup so when I wanted less ice, I really meant like just some floating on the top. But the server didn't seem to care about the ice amount ? Overall, it is just a place convenient to go near PCC in a hot summer day.

Surprisingly good food for a bubble tea store, unlike others.

Convenient location across from the Pasadena City College Library on E Colorado Blvd.

Interesting selection of bubble tea too.

Many tables available for group study too.

I had the Hokkaido Milk Tea , which is interesting and good, and the Curry ? popcorn chicken rice.

I highly recommend if in the neighborhood.

Parking: Small lot in the back off of Marion.

Maybe four spaces? Kind of tight.

Street parking is free on one side for one hour during the day.

I was looking for something new for dinner and happened upon this place whilst on a walk.
I got the crispy chicken curry bowl combo which included a regular size Jazmin tea with boba.
The chicken was crispy the dry rub flavorful, the chicken well done (no trace of pink anywhere) .
The rice was well done, not too soft not too hard.
The curry had a nice flavor that combined perfectly with the chicken.
Got the tea with 25% sugar and added boba, it had a great fast, so did the boba, light in ice, which is what I like.
As of 6/4/2024 this ran me $16 which is about normal for fast food.
Liked it, I would repeat and recommend.

Ordered a Strawberry matcha drink and was told it would be sweet. It was not. Too expensive to buy not good drinks. Also if you aren't paying in cash you need to order on a Kiosk.
