The location is great with plenty of parking spaces. Even the paid parking is reasonable priced, right in front of the store for less than $3, covering 2 hours of parking. The service was very nice and attentive. There are many tea selections and the quality was good. Unfortunately, the food is below average. I went here for a birthday lunch. Nobody greeted us , although we had a reservation at 2:30. I walked over to the register and told them we had a reservation. They had to clean up a table for us to sit, and the gentleman left the place settings and two menus. No one came to the table to introduce themselves or tell us anything about the menu or the restaurant.It was my first time here. We came to Chado Tea Room in Pasadena for a friend’s blog launch and had a lovely time! The setting is beautiful — cozy, charming, and perfect for an afternoon tea hangout. It does get quite busy on weekends, so definitely plan ahead.
