Found Green Street Restaurant on Google while looking for a place to have lunch in Pasadena. We were served by Joe who took such great care of us. Food was delicious and came out hot, Joe kept our drinks full. Big fan. Will definitely come again next time I’m in Pasadena.

Highly recommended. We have been going here for many years and it's easily one of our favorite places for a casual meal. They are frequently busy and might have a wait. The salads are great, and a “large” is enough for two to share. Weekend brunch is also popular. It's consistently top quality food-in all these years there was only one time that I felt disappointed by a dish, and that item has been taken off the menu. They're a casual place but a bit upscale. They have a bar, though I am not a drinker and can't offer any opinion about the drinks.

Food was good as usual. This restaurant has maintained food taste and quality the same over decades. Food prices has increased dramatically here, as everywhere....$20 dollars for burger or sandwich. I am blessed where I am in a position to pay for quality and service. Unfortunately, at this visit the service was very poor. The bus person was the one really serving our table. Our server had no personality and was just going through the motions....something most people wouldn't stand for at McDonald's.

Green Street consistently serves delicious food, generous portions and outstanding service. It's popular so there is a good bit of ambient noise around you, but it's still fine for carrying on a conversation at your table.

Parking is a challenge in a busy narrow street. Overall experience was nice.

The food was excellent, as always: the salmon, the seafood skewers , and the chicken Parmesan. Portions are so generous we ended up taking some home. We love the lighting, music, and the fact that we can hear each other talk.

first let me say my rating is not about the food. the french toast was phenomenal, and the meatballs were hella good. however, i came in and sat at the bar for 10 min before anyone acknowledged me. i was treated like a burden the entire time i was there, and overall didn’t feel welcomed. all of that would have been bad enough on its own, but in comparison to the couple that sat next to me at the bar who had drinks right away and friendly conversation the whole time, it felt like blatant discrimination. would never come back after that experience.1/10

Overall experience was a miss/mediocre and I wouldn't return when there are so many other options in the area. The best thing about the meal was the zucchini bread. Most of our entrees came out lukewarm and unseasoned after waiting a good amount of time. Our waiter did his best as it was a weekend and we were a large party, but the restaurant seemed understaffed as a whole. We came to celebrate a birthday but it definitely fell flat :(

This restaurant’s famous Diane salad has been my favorite for over 2 decades but this is my first time coming here for Brunch… the cheese burger is really good! It is time to try out others dishes!!!

I'm very disappointed. My shrimp tacos were awful ?. The tortillas were cold and mushy. I ate my tacos with a fork because the tortillas disintegrated. I did not complain to the waitress because I was with my friend who speaks highly of the special "salad" served there along with the zucchini bread. Obviously, the cooks need a refresher on how to cook tacos. I paid $23.00 for two lousy tacos, tip not included, but I did leave a tip for the waitress. I've could have eaten better tacos at Chipotle for half the price ?

It's been years since dinning at Green Street Restaurant. (It was actually on Green Street back then.) Note: The restaurant is on a small street and a little difficult to see the restaurant sign. It is next door to a multi-level parking structure. I had the KALE Dianne Salad. The flavor was exactly how I remembered. (Delicious) The standard serving size was massive. (There is a smaller size option.) The Kale was tender. I took home the remaining salad, which my wife and daughter shared. If you're not a fan of kale, get the original Dianne salad. The Zucchini bread was excellent.Parking: There is very limited parking on the main street. There is a lower rate parking lot about a block away. (90 minutes for free and an hourly charge thereafter. (Honor system) The parking structure next door is the most convenient. No validation is available.
