Amazing food, ambiance, wine, and staff! Tucked away on Holly St., a few blocks over from Colorado. Old town local vibe. Super chill. I've been trying new restaurants in the area and decided to pop in early on a Fri nite. Got a seat at the counter overlooking the chef preparing all the meals. Ordered a rose, very tasty. Short ribs with mash potatoes. Amazing! I will definitely be back to try more things. Highly recommend. We really don't have anything like this in Pasadena.

Very intimate restaurant. The food was excellent. Mushroom risotto was filled with savory mushrooms and fantastic cheese. Morning catch sandwich was black cod and scrumptious. The cubano was very generous. And do not miss the fries!! We came in a Sunday morning, I tried to order 3 different drinks they were out of all. I settled on water and had a fine time.

Literally such a good place. I'm glad I found it. The pasta was... soooo good. I'm tempted to go again this week. Karina the server/floor manager is amazing. The ambiance is so cute and great energy. Take your next date if you want to have killer cacio e Pepe and good conversation. Really special and they should be proud of their work.

I just had lunch here for the first time and this spot is another great addition to the Pasadena restaurant scene. The cacio e pepe was delicious. I'm excited to come back again and try a few more things on the menu.

Ambiance: it was very bright with glaring lights, music too loud, and big screen television on. Although the chef turned down the lights after a bit, it was still too bright. I had very high hopes, so I suppose whenever we are expecting something, we set ourselves up for disappointment. To be fair, the food was great. But. If I leave a 5 star review, everything must be impeccable. I wanted it to be. It was not. The glaring tv should have been my greatest warning factor. I think perhaps Holy Saints just needs to work out a few kinks, but if vibey atmospheric awesomeness is what you're after, this is not your spot. Honestly not trying to be mean or hurtful but I am being brutally honest.

Give this place 3 Michelin Stars already. WOW...little heard of but up and coming restaurant. The chef & owner is a former chef of a very well know Michelin star restaurant in LA. Risotto, beef ribs, soup, fries, etc...all perfection. A small place with stellar service so come hungry with an open mind. Chef Daniel will likely be one of the best known up & coming chefs in the US very soon with Holy Saints.

I just went to this restaurant on January 5th but it had been on my list for some time. After eating I wish I would have came a lot sooner. The service was amazing. The waitress was so sweet and welcoming. The food was just as good. This is my new go to when I want delicious Italian food.

My partner and I decided to try out Holy Saints after a trip to the dog park with my pups when we saw they were pet friendly. When we arrived, our options were to be seated on the sidewalk or to sit in a nook by the entrance. We chose the nook because it was the perfect size for 2 yet enough room for my 2 dogs to lay down next to my chair and not be in anyone's way or spooked by people passing by. Anytime you can dine indoors with my pups is a huge plus in my book. They also topped off my dog bowl with fresh water. When they say pet friendly, they really are! Ok, now on to human stuff. I ordered the Cacio e Pepe while my partner got the Smoked Cubano. And we also go the fries to share. First to come out were the hand cut fries. They were thick with warm, fluffy insides and paired great with the sauce they came with. We loved the sour tinge the sauce had but before we could finish the fries, our entrees came out (and we got a refill on our water carafe). I've never had pasta like the Cacio before so I was trying something new. I loved the texture of the noodles and its flavor however I'll admit some bites were overly peppery. While I LOVE pepper, I would have preferred the pepper to have been taken down half a notch. The Cubano was perfect! So flavorful and juicy and the mustard sauce went everywhere (which could sound like a complaint except it tasted so good!!). The service from the owners was very personable and inviting. We love supporting small business gems and Holy Saints is a definite gem in Pasadena. I'm still thinking about those fries...
