I expected the Birria quesadilla to be fatty, red, and fried. Instead, and to my surprise, I got a quite pleasant meat and cheese combination. They were generous with the meat quantty, and the guacamole, sour cream, and birria helped bring out the natural flavours of the quesadilla in a perfectly complementary way. I had a good carnitas torta here! The hot sauce that I got with it was flavorful with a little kick. The bread was great, soft and nicely toasted, and the carnitas were flavorful. It was definitely enough for a light dinner. The lady that served me was very nice, even with it being very busy because of a concert at the Rose Bowl.
I tried the Carne Asada Tostada and it was to die for! It was so delicious with the Lettuce, Cheese and Sour Cream made every bite delicious. My boyfriend tried the Tinga Tostadas and I had a bite of his and it was also very tasteful. I’m definitely going to be coming back.
